It was probably the highlight of the FoS 2010 for me. Even a mile away on full thrust it was 10x louder then the piffling F1 cars that were making their way up the hill. ..and they must have been at 110Db !
I'm not sure what is sadder....the fact that the Vulcan was built to decimate entire cities, or the fact that this wonder of the skies may never fly again....
Sorry if this appears twice so just delete the other one. I was cursing as it flew over the other side of the trees, annoyed about my poor viewpoint. I had stopped filming when all other a sudden it came into view and I was like "LOOK AT THAT !!!" My boys loved it and I never felt in danger. Others I have showed it to think i'm lucky it never came down on us. looks like you were just a bit further back than me. As my boy said, "THAT-WAS-AWESOME !!!"
