  • This is a great show. Keep up the good work

  • The show has promise. I hope you eventually pick a subject each show and follow it through. I hope that you provide proper views of the items you describe. Examples would be mixer connections, cables etc.

I'd love it if you have a show or two aimed at amateur people like myself. Describe some inexpensive, but good mixer, mic setups, etc.

  • Inserts on mixers I think are primarily designed to route to compressors/rack gear. You use an insert cable which is basically a stereo to two mono connectors. So audio from that channel ( Like a microphone input ) goes through all your rack gear and back through insert input to the rest of the board.

  • Don't like to route audio through USB or firewire. Prefer to route through the sound card directly. While some say a built-in sound cards are not the best way to do it, always had great success with it along with great sounding audio. +1 on the cheap mixers producing more noise, the medium priced mixers have much better mic preamp in them.

  • Yeah! I'm the first viewer on this video!
