She definately has the voice, she needs a bit of work on the acting/enthusiasm part. Her enthusiasm is hurting her voice and moreso her acting. Body language is such a subtle thing, and quite affected by attitude. It's a bit unconvincing to watch an unenthusiastic performance. Don't take it too harshly, I'm just noting on ways she could improve. The potential is there.

Only thing that bothered me is that I'm so used to seeing Miku wearing perfectly form fitting clothes that are all starched to extreme stiffness, that it just didn't seem right.

It's one of those things were something is so close to perfect that you can't help but be bothered by the flaws.

Wow... so much promise... I think the cosplay type performance is the direction of the future for performers. Make sure Maxine practices and performs as much as possible if she's enjoying it. It's just like drawing, the more you do it, the better you get. Check out tinkerchel for some inspiration as well, she does very charming cosplay-ish videos with a lot of performance style.
