@dodgeramkx250 Got rid of the stock manifold. Replaced it with the mopar M1 non-EGR. Solved the spark knock and the oil consumption. Replaced the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor at the same time. Its slow because of the elevation im at. Down close to sea level its a whole different animal.
@akuzadodge oh ok, yea i notice a small difference in my truck at 2500ft from sea level. I would recomend the sct tune instead of the superchips also. And how did you like m1 intake?
i got a bbk 52mm comeing for my 99 5.2L i hear that thay realy help up to 6000 rpm the stock TB starts to floats around 4000rpm you got a good hit on the rpm when you hit that gas A+ man
@hwhhww What kind of car is it? You probably dont have as much torque as a 5.9. With those mods im close to 400 ft lbs and 300hp at sea level. Just not here in colorado.
lol i have 285 low end torque and 285 high end horsepower. so yea you basically beat me on the torque, but as soon as i get a tune and take off that damn torque management that gm programs onto their cars, i'll come back and smack talk some more haha
@akuzadodge i bet my 4.7 has more trq than ur 5.9 lol i raced my buddy's durango with mine he got the big bad 5.9 rt with intake and exhaust i raced him stock and left it badd
@fordboy111591 Those 4.7's are good motors and are a bit quicker than the AWD R/T's stock. The 5.9 is "undertuned" from the factory. The 5.9's have alot of potential with only minor mods such as a tune, intake manifold, headers, cam, etc... Thank you for watching
you said that you have an intake air temperature sensor modification. Take that out as soon as possible you actually lose power with that and its not good for your engine, as the engine will run rich because its dumping to much gas. This is kinda slow for a modded 5.9, my explorer 5.0 is about this fast with no modifications. Do a 0-60 when you get a chance, later.
dude u need to change ur plenum, sparkplugs, wires, distrib cap and rotor!

omg!!! i dont mean to dog on you but that thing is slow and with a 5.9 and all those mods even going up hill it should of been better than that.

@hwhhww Yes, actually, you do lose power. Everybody does unless you have some miracle engine or you turn up the turbo to make up for it.

The road that this run was done on has sections that are uphill causing the brief lag at around 65 mph. The road leveled out at around 70-75 mph.
