  • Haha this is so unusual...and the creatures giving you 'helpful' hints when it's just a little too late...

  • "At night."

I thought of Spongebob when I heard this.

  • Floating Potted Plant Guy: It's dangerous? To Go Alone? TAKE THIS! *plucks flower off his head* Me: =D

  • Your ... knowledge of these games that are unknown by most is vast. I tip my hat to you.

  • @itsponskansfry That is the point of most of my LPs: to share knowledge of these games.

  • I don't want to convert the nice little guys. I want to convert the ugly priest who eats them. Bite yourself priesty, bite yourself! I am YOUR GOD, do as I say, bad little priesty! Rawr. This video actually made me a bit sad, poor little guys.

  • I've been watching your videos for a while now, and honestly this is the first video that's made me laugh out loud. It was the "You are a lamp; why is this happening?" that did it for me. Reminds me so much of the "Ford, you're turning into a penguin. Stop it" line from The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

  • If you stare at that potted plant in the right way, it kind of looks like the pokemon Shaymin.

Then, again maybe its just me.

  • You call him a lamp... I call him Jellyfish on a stick. ^_^

  • 'There is really no way to kill in this game'

Well, the object of the game is to convert floaty head guys' religion and then feed them to your preist. So, yeah.

  • Aw, those floaty things looked kinda cute. D: Shame they have to be eaten. And having just finished watching the first part I have a sneaking suspicion about what's going to happen to our protagonist after he's "converted" enough of these things.

  • Do you get annoyed at all the comments just quoting what you say?

  • It does get old. Unfortunately, it's the best some people can come up with. It's just a step above "lol".

  • At the whole video. Nothing specific, just... "Hey everybody, I'm Diseased Shellfish, let's play Super Godzilla!", ten minutes of that, and one comment, "lol".

  • @DeceasedCrab "Unfortunately, its the best some people can come up with"

  • Interesting 'lil game. I like the abstract-ness of it all.

I can only wonder what belief eats all their new comers.

  • 3:12 "That's good, I like peace."

Said Mr. Oh look at me, buying all those tanks in Let's Play Civilization.

  • These creatures don't believe in punctuation or capitalization. How can you stand it DC?

  • @SchlossRitter He doesn't need to read the comments.

...Oh, do you mean the things in Pazzon?

  • You are a lamp.

    Why is this happening.

  • yeeeeaaah...I like this game already :)

  • Looks like Number Muncher quit mathematics and sought religion.

  • You are a lamp. Why is this happening...? Haha.

  • Pazzon fun for all the family, including christians :D

  • I love the music. xD

  • Convert them into energy, more like it.

  • Oh, DC... You shouldn´t have picked this game to play. Maybe even more people will forget to type properly and now they´ll use this game to excuse their punctuation flaws...even though there is none!

Remember: Watch your spelling or the Crab-Priest will convert you...into tasty whale-burgers!

  • whoa--frank lloyd wrighty

  • Very classy game!

  • You gotta love a game made by someone who writes incoherent run-on sentences with bad grammar.

  • Thanks for finding and playing all these great games DC.

I would've never even know about these if you hadn't played them.

  • Is there a name for the art style used in this game? Because I really, really like it...

  • It looks rather De Stijl, and please don't turn to me for the correct pronunciation of that.

  • It is the rare "use of colours other than grey and brown and use of style other than realistic" art style. You don't find it in many modern games.

  • That Priest reminds me of the Shouty guy from Mondo Medicals. -TO CONVERT A PLATFORM YOU HAVE TO EAT IT!

  • I WILL CONVERT YOU, PLATFORM!

  • Is it just me, or is some of the music sampled from modem sounds? On the subject of 'is it just me', the dialogue is reminiscient of Mondo Medical/Agency, at least to me.

  • I'm...confused

  • Knytt Stories after way too much crack cocaine.

    Strange images? Check.

    Munchies? Double check.

Deep religious musings that involve aliens? Check and check.

    Never check into rehab, Knytt.

  • well this seems like an odd game

    Press Space

  • oh DC.

  • Okay, what the f***.

  • Hey folks! Let's help a psychotic priest convert nonbelievers to our side so he can devour them for dinner!

I hope he gets indigestion. He won't be getting any medicine from me, that's for sure.

  • There's a certain style to games like this that I get endless entertainment out of.

..Except the style is sort of a lack of style. But it works. Somehow.

    IT IS PARADOXICAL

  • "That messeger bothers me, unfortunately you cannot kill in this game" Thats classic XD

  • Yay Absurdity.

You find the most interesting of games. And your entertaining to listen to.

  • What about my "entertaining to listen to"?

  • @DeceasedCrab just... make sure it doesnt get infected, okay?

  • @DeceasedCrab you must have lost it...

  • @PencilShavings (Pssst, you mean "you're".)

  • DC! Don't you know that one of the rules of gaming is "Spikes are bad!"?

  • The game's style kinda reminds me of Patapon.

Other than that, it looks a bit too... mundane. But it also looks relaxing, at least.

  • Looks... monochromish...

  • The way the dialog is shown reminds me of the old silent films.

  • That... is one strange looking game. Still, this should be interesting!

  • Hey random ass small one, go get some friendly bounce friends that dont think like us and gather them. Since we live in peace, brainwash them and feed them to the priest. Well give you chocolate if you do.

  • In a strange art-deco world where polygons talk in run-on sentences, floating heads are converted... into food.

  • Heh. You're converting the hell out of those little floaty things, DC!

After all, in this universe, true salvation apparently comes in little bite-sized chunks at the bottom of a scary blocky creature's stomach.

  • I liked the game. Maybe the converting involves becoming a sacrificial snack for the priest in return for some sort of afterlife prize? I think the third townperson stole everyone else's periods.

  • I remember this game. Fun, graphic-smart, but a little "standard" -ish, for a platformer.

  • Weird game is weeeeeeeeeird.

  • I don't know what this is but it looks awesome. And you're awesome DC for LPing it.

  • Lovin' how artistic this game is. The song only adds to that feel.

  • I just hope Jimmy Carter isn't one of them.

  • This is... kinda creepy.

  • Nobody expects the Crabish Inquisition! I feel sorry for those guys though, the priest is kind of a jerk.

  • This is why we have seperation of church and state.

  • i wonder what the little platform guys taste like.....?

  • i get the feeling something horribly twisted and eversion-like is going to happen later... o_o;

  • Are you a plug? Also ow my ears.

  • potted plant commands us to feed the priest!

  • A colorfull one this is.

  • I feel bad for the little guys. What did they ever do besides being fun little trampolines?

  • I wonder if the priest has the key to the Kelka...

  • I played City of Heroes the other day and ran into some Banished Pantheon masks. I had a terrible Stanley flashback and cried for hours.

  • DC plays City of Heroes? What server does he... I mean, "do you" play on?

  • I'll never know!

  • um...ok??

  • Ok, here's my theory. clearly social status is determined by size. the presidents are largest, with the preist at second largest. the protagonist is smallest because he is converting these things instead of doing something important. Also the presidents are plants. Therefore I conclude: The player character's race are actually Orks.

  • Stop whatever it is you're doing.

  • That's an interesting point, since in the Mondo series (which Pazon bears a resemblance to, as people have said) the President is far and away the largest character as well. Funny how that happens.

  • It seems that the character's race, based on your observation of height determining social status, would be Irken.

  • IT'S CALLED PUNCTUATION

  • Well, this seems like an innocent enough game!

    *watches platforms become eaten*

...That is totally normal. Innocent, I tell you.

  • it looks fun but im a bit confused

  • This game makes me hungry.

  • I kind of miss your Iji LP continuity already. It was really very good.

  • Well, I'm glad to see the Number Munchers protagonist has gotten some work.

  • Maybe the priest will "commit Karoshi" when you're done!

  • I can see this game going the way of Eversion >.>

  • Hmmm, another deceiving and evil game like eversion.

  • Better conversion than eversion.

  • well...

    this is interesting...

  • The high-pitched part of the music sounded very Metroid to me.

A tad quiet, but other than that I'm totally excited for this... abstract game.

  • Is talking to them automatic, or do you have to press a button?

  • Press Space.

  • Whoa...This looks interesting. I'll play it!

  • Am I the only one here who's kind of reminded of Earthbound?

  • Conversion?

From experience, every thing ending in "version" that isn't actually the word version is bad. Yes, I'm pointing to you, Cocoron clone.

  • Poor little creatures!

  • DC's voice and a nice little game is all you need when you have the flu.

  • Who converts to a religion called "You-Being-Eatenism"?

  • Doesn't look like a very good game.

  • Doesn't look like a very good comment.

  • Very Very interesting game.

  • And the floating heads knew the name of the King.

  • They were pretty arrogant, just... floating there.

  • MONDRIAN! That's who this game reminds me of! That artist, Mondrian, who did those paintings of boxes and colors and whatnot.

I still like this game, even if having to feed the creatures to the priest made me feel terrible :(

  • That was the first thing I thought of too.

  • Way to make peace DC!

  • You're a great resource for indie games DC, thanks for showing us these awesome things! I love the range of indie stuff, from Knytt Stories, to Iji, and more. Have you seen the game "The Underside"? I hear it's under development, its style follows after Cave Story, but it's still unique in its own way. Then again, I'd imagine you've heard of it somehow. Either way, keep up the great work! One last thing though, are you planning on working on any retro games? Or more indie? Just curious!

  • I have no intention of playing that game. It's more a Hype Machine than an actual game.

  • Where do you find all of these cool games? All of them are excellent.

  • This game is weird...

Is it for fun, or was the author trying to make a seriously religious statement?!

    Priests are eating our children!?

The Presidents and the Priest have conflicting beliefs.

Presidents - Live in peace with the people who believe differently to us

    Priest - EAT THEM!

  • It's probably made for the absurdity factor.

  • I'm disappointed by the insufficient amount of eversionating taking place here.

  • Why is one of the presidents a tiffany lamp?

  • Those poor little floaty platform guys, they didn't deserve such a cruel fate!

Also, I am really digging the graphics in this game for some reason. They're simple, but give off such a cool and surreal vibe.

  • I'm really digging the music, and style of the game. The gameplay looks a bit easy, for the moment, but the story seems cool so far.

  • So, we have the ghosts of Presidents' day past, present, and future?

  • For some reason this game freaks me out way more than Eversion. Also, temples don't work that way.

  • What the blue hell is this? It looks...special.

  • A game about a cannibalistic crusade? I guess that makes sense?

  • I jus beat this game, and all I could say was: WTF!?

  • ... I don't like this one just yet. Hopefully it'll pick up.

If it's just a loop back and forth with them' creatures, feeding the Priest, then it's not my style.

  • He eats them so they don't eat themselves.

  • So do the inhabitants of Pazzon have a phobia of punctuation?

  • Makes you wonder what sort of beliefs these priests have.

  • He ate the platform creatures! D:

  • For some reason this game made me laugh. It looks interesting, though

  • Finally.. IJI is over!!! Haven't watched a video of yours for a month, welcome back DC

  • ... go to hell.

What were you hoping to accomplish by stating this? Other than getting yourself blocked?

  • Oh right. Great Comment...

By the way, he didn't go anywhere, you did.

  • Be careful, ok? lol

Trippy game. Where did you find it?

  • Who's "Jesse Venbrux"? Ahh! It's "The Karoshi Guy!" ;)

  • A floating plant in a pot?

I thought it was some kind of a skull with a colourful afro wig...

  • this is like a sick version of pikmin, and i like it.

  • I never liked this game... but it's cool none the least.

  • It's like modern art........ interesting to look at, and hard to actually figure out.

  • What an....interesting game!

  • It looks like an interesting game, but you do realize that you are going to get a lot of arguements on religion here.

  • Anyone who tries to state that there's actually some kind of underlying meaning in this game, no matter if they're a player or they're the person who made this game, is a fool.

Why do people look for meaning in things meant to be absurd?

  • I like your total neutrality on these issues, DC, even in your videos. I realise you must have your own personal beliefs, but the fact that you are so neutral in your Let's Plays is what sets you apart from the rest.

  • Thanks. I've got opinions, I just know better than to share most of them in video.

  • I thought that might have been the case...

  • wow i just played the game and beat it and got an awkward ending....DC could you tell me if theres only one ending? because the one i got seems like there could be others

  • So this is how the crusades in the midages worked. The Knights brought all the disbelievers to the pope and then the pope ate them...

  • It's historaccurately edumacational!

  • interesting. i like the game design

  • I'll covert you...in my tummy...into Nutrition.

  • Ahhh. My ears! I can't watch any further. That high pitched sound...

  • It seems like a nice little game, however I am not to fond of the religious aspect of it.

  • They get eaten... wow... I dont even know what to say to that honestly. Why convert them if theyre gonna be eaten? Oh well, seems like a good game

  • Is this going to pull an Eversion on us?

  • Priests and presidents. Something is flashing back to me..

  • I guess the priest himself is under an affliction of gluttony, hence why he called the platforms sinners, and as such supports the evil of all. An interesting video so far. Too bad the leap of faith didn't work out well.

  • Blind jumps = spikes

  • Or water (Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest (terrible game)).

  • so in this place, living in peace really means "we'll convert you and then eat you".

    worst. religion. ever.

  • Getting a real Knytt feeling from this game. This can only be good.

Keep feeding the priest DC. He seems like a pretty legit guy.

  • Umm.... what?

  • What an odd,but yet happy game. What will be the fate of the little platform people?

  • Eversion 2: Electric Boogaloo?

  • Huh, I wonder if everyone speaks in run-on sentences intentionally. Anyway, looks like fun.

  • Convert them all! >:[

  • Umm... WTF?

  • Well that's bizarre.

I can't help but notice, though, that the main character's eyes are blue. Just like the platform creatures before their UNTIMELY DEMISE. This could be bad.

... Or maybe I'm just too used to color-coding in video-games. You know. All those fellows over there in the yellow are obviously NICE, except for that one who is black, who will either be important, or a bad guy. Surprising how often this happens...

  • Wow, DC, do you ever take a break? You just finished turning Iji inside out and now you're on to another game? I admire your work ethic, sir.

    Keep 'em comin!

  • This is the end result of using the null driver.

  • Similar to Patapon.

  • These guys at the start remind me of Commander Keen enemies.

  • Priest is like, "I MUST CONVERT EVERYONE!!! *munch munch munch* DELICIOUS CONVERSION!!!"

  • Delicious research?

  • Another great choice!

  • yay a new lets play

    press space

  • ...um.

  • Good god hope this does'ent turn out like Everse."shudders"

  • Wouldn't it have to start out happy and innocent for that?

  • I hope it *does*. But I'm corrupt.

  • The third president looked like Ultros on a stick.

  • Don't tease the Octopus, kids!
