I have the defender series for my Samsung S Infuse 4G. My drop was not nearly as epic as from a second story window, however, I left my phone on my lap and exited my car. It hit the pavement with a thud, skipped a bit, and landed screen down in some rocks. I didn't even get so much as a scratch on the protective plastic for the touchscreen. Totally recommend these products!

I have the Same OtterBox, This case is built to take a beating! but price wise i wish it can be lowered. But one suggestion, if your going to use the otterbox, try keep the case on after installing it, the rubber will expand and become loose if you keep on putting it on and off. But soo far the case is worth putting on.

1- very hard to take off.

2- air bubbles between screen and case... ive tried many times but they wont go away

3- touch screen is less responsive. can take a few clicks for a button to register. sometimes a particular area will not work completely.

Anyway, I do love my OB. Although it isn't waterproof I did save my phone from a commode drop by my 18 month old grandson! He picked it up off the bed while i was brushing my teeth and I asked him to bring it to me.
