American women are brainwashed by pop culture, Sex and the City, Keeping up with the Kardashians, House wife of Orange county. They tend to have an entitlement complex. The engagement ring has become a tool to show off to friends, coworkers, and family. It is really not an expression of love anymore. Love can be expressed in so many ways why do women need a 10000 dollar ring to know she is loved? it is simply a status symbol.

@kilahchris In most cultures it is customary for a man to give the bride or the family of the bride something prior to marriage, whether it be jewelry, a bridal price, animals, land etc.. This is not simply about love it's about showing that you are able to provide and a visible symbol that the woman is spoken for. Next I guess you'll complain about needing to buy a house, have a car, and keep a job.

Its looks like moissanite. It has brownish hue...It sparkles too much for diamond.. But WHO CARES lol. It sparkles like crazy - thats what matters!

It's probably moissanite. Look it up guys, it sparkles a lot and usually has that yellowish tint in certain lights. Plus, it is equivalent to VS1 clarity and color of G so that's why she might've put that up.. IMO, it's better to have a moissanite since it costs less, but is much more beautiful than a diamond. I'd rather have a gorgeous dgem that sparkles than a dull one.

Looks like a fabulous G to me -- smaller stones always look whiter than a larger stone of the same colour.

Absolutely agree. There is very definite yellow in that stone.

It's not a genuine Tifffany as the setting is too bulky. Tiffany rings can be big but extremely delicate at the same time. This ring is nowhere near as well finished.

It is a beautiful ring though.
