Long sad story. I have a 2010 Mustang that everything back of the driver seat is gutted.  Started as a private project now lifes changed. I want to do something a bit like the first car in the vid. would need custom everything. Obviously more details can be discussed in email and in person. @60CrewDawg69 Most of my full interiors average 2500-3500usd depending what materials you want and if you a custom touch to it. If your missing any main parts like seats, dash, console, then you would have to get all that together. I can make some things for you like custom consoles, door panels, ets. @lelandbyers17 Yes I've done a few of those. I did a really nice Lime Green 3 tone in one that was featured in minitrucking mag. I rebuilt the whole interior in that one, it actually had the top cut off and suspension bagged. All my pictures online are from the last few years and I"ve done this for about 15 years now. I'll try to scan some of the old pics I got, then add a new video showing them.

@rob92376 sounds like you need a big truck, jk. Depends what kind of car you have, maybe you could modify the tracks or replace the seat. Most of my customers that want to replace seats with seats from another vehicle go to junk yards and then I'll recover and mount the seats for them.

@toobfrank Sorry, I don't know of any shops up that way. I could do the carpet dash seats and panels for around $1500-$1800. My full custom interiors start at $2500 with everything wrapped.

@316TYJ I mostly wrap the dashes and trim, but if the customer wants a cheaper why out, you can use sem dye that comes in a spray can. It's about $10-$12 a can and you need to clean and prep the plastic really well for it to work best. I try not to use it in problem areas like armrests and high wear spots. Most auto parts store sell it or a version of it at least.

It takes a good heavy duty sewing machine and some know how. I own my own upholstery business and have been doing it over 14 years. I would not recommend doing your own seats, maybe start with headliners and carpets.

Seats could be 750-1200, depends if you want real leather. Door panels start around 125 each and dashes can be anywhere from 300-800, depends if you juat want it painted or if you want it removed and covered.

Most vehicles front and back seats cost $700-1200. Just depends if it's a bench or Bucket seats in the front and what kind of material you want. Vinyl/cloth seats are about 700-900 and real leather seats are 900-1200. Sent me a PM or even call me afternoons or nights at 615-612-1477 (Matt)

I had an older furniture upholster teach me and I read a few books in the beginning, but really just the more you work on the more you learn. I have been doing upholstery for 14 years now and still love to learn new things. There is probably some how-to DVDs too.

Hey im, interested in doing some interior work on my 98 LS integra. It used to have tan interior, but the dude who owned it before me spray painted it all black. I wanna just rip all the shit out and replace it with clean black pieces. Just wanted to know if you had advice. Im afraid of the dash.

You could have an upholstery shop cover all the parts for you or try painting/dying them correctly. Dashes can suck to get out. You just have to do it and not worry, mark stuff so you know were it goes back.

How did you reinstall teh rear window on that eclipse spyder!!!??? I couldnt get anybody to do it, i baught the window and everything. i ended up just buying a whole new top and installing it myself..

I put a new top pads and cables. The window on this car is made in with the top from the factory or top company. If you bought just a window from someone, they screwed you and probably took it out of an old top.

Those are fairly easy tops, since they have plastic sewn into the edges that makes you put the top in the correct place.

Well,

You would need an commercial sewing machine and alot of experience. Trim work like headliners and panels are a little easier, but sewing seats is alot harder to begin with. I'll try my best to get some acctual videos up soon.

Those are a little harder then regular cars. There's alot of parts to cover on those caddies. Most of my ideas come to me while I have the item on my work table. Purple, Black, and Grey would look good together. I like to add a third color, just for a little extra detail.

Most vinyl is about $15usd a yard and there is some nice vinyl like leather out there. Real leather is about 150-250 a hide(1 cow) and that only about 3-5 yards worth of material. Most of my customers pick the leather like vinyl, which holds up better anyway.

hey man good work. I wanna do my polo like that. Ive installed a 2 litre Honda civic engine in her (so people who drive faster cars dont laugh at me lol) so now Ive started on the interior. Its a black chamilion paint work, tinted windows black, custom boot build I wanna go for the green and black two tone look. I emailed you earlier but Ive had the dash board done. Digital detona off set gauges with BMW style dash with a tablet pc screen connected to drivesoft computer.
