Actually, NJUinchina is most likely from Hong Kong (or some other overseas chinese) because he is using traditional chinese and has cantonese videos. Its somewhat ironic that he sounds a little like Singapore's opposition lamenting our lack of proper english or chinese.

Can't say I'm totally proud of singlish... it would be better to be able to speak all 3 (English, Mandarin and Singlish of course...) with the correct respective accents.

I think Singlish isn't really about the words used, but it's more of an accent! Even when you use cheem English but your words are heavily accented with Singlish, you wouldn't even make it past Modern English! It'd still be in the Singlish category, hahaha.
