i totally agree with the velvet. for school it was dress for success, and i threw on a blue fitted dress shirt, blue faced watch,black and black silk tie with a black velvet vest on top. the whole day, nearly all the complements went to the velvet vest, i never really saw velvet as that "exciting" but after hearing how everyone loved it, i think i really will go get a velvet sportcoat now =)

My tip is to watch ALL of Aaron's videos! They are awesome - practical - and purposeful. I followed his lead and bought a new ward robe with proper style shoes, slacks, shirts...used hair product (ex: Crew)...etc. I started working out and dropped 20 lbs of fat and put on 15 lbs of muscle...and that's just the start. You are obviously motivated so GET AFTER IT! Good luck!

One thing though: Maybe you should either tilt your camera angle down a bit or set it on something a bit lower. Half of the frame is usually your walls and ceiling, which makes you look shorter than you probably are. If your face was set a bit higher in frame, it would really help. :)

Pretty cool, and I really appriciate the style advice you give out.

One minor problem I do have is you tend to give advice were I (in my own opinion) would be over dressed. I could never see myself wearing a sports jacket in my day to day life only on a dressy occasion.

Id love to see more casual styles, stuff you would wear when relaxing or just out and about something that you would wear to a bar for a few beers.
