  • Her voice reminds me of the singer from Wintersleep.

  • why even play a guitar? Play some keys pussy...

  • Good luck guys!

  • I guess this is the new Zola Jesus side project. Err...wait.

  • KEXP! Any chance of seeing Joanna Wang perform on your channel????

  • Beautiful.

  • thank you - this is like i was there

  • Que buen ensamble! El sonido muy pulcro y cuidadoso :) Like

  • Awesome. Thanks for the share:)

    Grandma mary

  • Dude from the Office on drums?

  • this band is kinda like florence and the machine, in a good way :))

  • @TheMoQingbird I find them gorgeously optimistic.

  • I think i am in love with The Sea. I lucked out finding this, not sure why I never looked her up after watching the first 2 seasons. Figures she is an even better singer then actor.

  • @LSchotfledt I agree, it's very successful at what it does. Depressing music is great for resonating with when you're depressed - makes you feel you're not alone. But four in a row? Pass me the razor will yah. A bit of variety would make the whole set more interesting. Music, like all art, has a purpose, and that purpose is to convey one person's emotions to another.

  • @TheZatrahc Oh yeah, that third one's a real feel good number... "crimson are the hours, bled to death by idle hands of time." (and a little help from a razor blade;) Seriously, XM's chord progressions and melodies fall over the course of each four bars - depressing. Contrast The Hours with Black Smoke Rise by Wooden Shjips. The keyboard line rises over four bars, and that ride cymbal is freakin' irresistable - same instrumentation, awesome groove, and that Airline guitar rocks! :)

  • @TheMoQingbird Look, lets asume it is depressive ( a fact that I disagree on), What makes that a negative thing? Music is not supposed to be a happiness pill, its purpose is not to make you happy. It has no definate purpose, this music gives a darker more "depressive" mood. And if it gives it succesfully, great!

  • The drummer looks cool (no homo).

  • beautiful

  • Emo Dirge? Listen to the third song they play. Dirge? Hardly.

  • Really dislike the vocals, love the rest.

  • @Brendan528 Just tried three Sunny Day Real Estate tracks and I liked them. SDRE may be Emo with a capital-E, but Exit music are emo with a lower-e. SDRE interleave downbeat,'emo' bits with upbeat rockin' guitars that have a positive energy. These four tracks, though, are just dripping with misery. The secret of good music is contrast, contrast, contrast! (Thanks for leading me to SDRE:)

  • @TheMoQingbird Haha no problem. I just feel like there's a huge misconception of the Emo genre. I'm glad you liked SDRE though.

  • Oh goody, another wrist-slashing, suicide-send-off, emo-dirge band.

Don't say: anyone got a razor I can borrow?

    Do say: get over yourselves!

  • @TheMoQingbird You have a huge misunderstanding of the emo drama if you think this is it. Listen to Sunny Day Real Estate, then listen to this and then come back and tell me if you hear any similarities other than the fact that both bands play instruments.

  • ive seen her boobies

  • Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!

Im so glad I watched this. Looks like I know what ill be listening to for a while :)

  • omg it's Jimmy's dead lesbian wife. This just makes me more infatuated with her.

  • Exit Music - OK Computer?

  • This woman was amazing in Boardwalk Empire.

  • Very Good!
