Jack, i will have unconditional love for you till the day i die, but I just cannot believe we lost you to something so silly, and I guess thats the hardest part <3
Beautiful video! So sad, it makes one cry. Makes one think about the consequences drunk driving, reckless driving, or speeding. Do everyone a favour, please be careful behind the wheel, eh? It's not worth getting hurt or killed.
@skatepeak once the design speed of the road is exceeded, the road geometry will no longer support the vehicle and even paying attention to everything won't save the driver, simply because of physics. But I suppose you're right to an extent!
You are very right in what you write. But the speed limit issued by a policeofficer sitting at his desk looking at a map, is not the design speed of the road.
In fact, I very often ride a piece of rad which design speed is way lower thatn the speedlimit issued by the state.
However, even more often I ride a piece of road that is empty (nighttime) and dry, and has a design speed of 100 mph. But is restircted to 55.
& speedlimits are never with digits, so they are always inaccurate :D
The new one that just went to air not this one is the most touching and i felt hurt. it is a culmination of most of the TAC ads to date. If anyone has posted it to youtube tell me i want to watch it again.
this is one of the saddest ads ive ever seen and i love TAC ads coz they are effective and they are wots needed to be said. because imagine if you were one of these families!
Bit too long. Affective, but the DETR in England did a similar thing by having video footage of kids play out over various voice recordings then reveal their identities at the end. It was half the length at the longest and just as poignant. But a solid effort from all involved nonetheless.
It wasnt shown much, the point of this add was it was aired just before prime time tv slot.. so heaps of people would see it, and be effected by it. The add they aired more frequently was shortened dramatically. Probably the only add to ever make me tear up. Considering they use no words at all, They did a damn good job of getting the point across.
The only reason it's too long is that they did a one-off event where they played it at the same time over all 3 commercial networks in Australia. After that, they used a 60 second version I think.
i wish people would take more attention of these ads and everything else trying to prevent the accidents from happening.
it's happening far too often and no one ever thinks they would be the one to take someone so important from others, but any drink driver, or reckless driver can.
please, just be careful. it changes peoples lives forever.
I say bring in mandatory *defensive* driving training at High School, just like they have in the US. Having bad drivers teach their kids how to drive is NOT a good policy.
I am an interstate truckie, a husband, a father and grandfather, this has affected me in a way I cannot discribe. I have a conciouse decision to be the most thoughtfull and patient driver I can be. You are all so precious to us all. Merry Christmass 2008
This ad is not explotation of any kind. This ad is made so, hopefully people stop being so reckless on the roads. I t is designed to make you think......
So sad! It makes me cry, too, especially at the end where it has the close ups of the victims with their names and ages. I'm glad the TAC made this ad.

"SPEEDING DRIVERS ARE THE BIGGST KILLERS ON OUR ROADS""
LIE !!!!
People driving with out due care and attention, is the biggest killler on our roads.
If someone speed carefully, and pay attention to everything.
They are not dangerous at all.
How come an old russian truck with 6 wheels, can go as fast as a sportsbike with upgraded brakes ??
Because speedlimits don't give a shit about reality

street racers.
USE A FUCKING RACETRACK INSTEAD OF THE STREETS.
look what you do to your families after your gone.
look at what u did to yourselves, and possibly ur mates in the car with you.
and look at what the people who loved you, have to live through.

@zachary664 not to mention those they have killed that had nothing to do with the race, and their families..
