i have the same problem with my psp 3000 L trigger button......i have searched for solutions on forum sites but still i cant find any right solutions....i tried cleaning the sensors but still no good.....please help me

you need to replace a hole big piece of your psp to fix it. the button is warn out. cost like $30 to fix.

same thing with me, you can get around the whole freezing on the home screen by flicking the lock switch on and off.

it freezes on the home screen cuz for some reason if you hold a trigger down while pressing home you can't do anything :/

I had that same problem with my PSP. For me it was bad contact between the Left Top Trigger button and the contact. Which wasnt letting me use the home button to quit Open up your psp pop out your left trigger clean the trigger itself, the top gray pushbutton and peel it back and underneat aswell as the main contact itself. Good luck hope this helps

GetJiggy, if it's the free stuff code you're talking about, don't believe it. In the best case, in order to get such a thing, you'd have to place things like his message just about everywhere you go. In the worst case, you'd get screwed over by an illegal company.

Mayonaise (vid owner), you can clean your button by opening up your PSP and taking whatever junk is stuck in there (below the button) out. This however does void any warranty you might still have.

i fixed it myself like the next day after i posted this. for reference, i just switched the rubber buttons around.
