@MetalFlush hello. its a good amp, the cleans are nice and you can add effects with a pedal. The distortion in this video is purely from the amp (solo channel) you can saturate it really nice to get that RIP sound. The other channel gives kind of an Iron maiden / old dream theater distortion.

it's a ESP LTD V-350, old model from 2001. the inlays come like that factory default. the new model is V-500 I think, and it's based off DV-8 which had dot inlays.

Excellent, if I may, the notes are precise , but not quite the picking technique, I lack the finger tech that you have, but if we meet in the middle somewhere we could both master Dave's solo, Check out my attempt, comment and critique, I would respect your opinion

it's nice to see someone man-up and have the balls to play a dave solo on here. everyone likes to diss dave's solo-ing, but not many people can actually play his style.

notes were dead on. but you (and everyone else i've seen on here so far playing dave solos) aren't angry enough when you play it. it's still really good, though. i can't play this one to save my life.

Nice job, well done on the runs and the cut-in w/Dave's Solo... I actually didn't realize they split these, I've been playing it since it came out as one... :P But it makes sense, dueling solos always rocks more than having one soloist, it just adds to the feeling.

Thank God, somebody uploads a Lucretia cover with Dave's solo. Lots of guys love Marty's solos and whenever they play Lucretia, they play Marty's. It's time to give some credit to the mastermind of Megadeth: Dave Mustaine.

- about the v-500, well this is of the old ones, around 2002, but I love all the features it has, and it's similar to mustaine's holywars woodstock99 guitar.

-the amp costs around 250 dollars. get it from any store :)

-hearing over the actual song.. yep i tried to do it, but the bass of the song is a little exagerated but thats how the mic got the sound. it's good though, you gotta crank it up tough.

- The wrist band are from reebok.. lol

- crate amps have these "solo" channel, which you can shape the distortion, and you can achieve lots of styles (power, thrash, heavy, rock) if you know how to EQ it right. I love this little amp, so robust.

-I do make about 2 or 3 mistakes, but they are alright I guess.

-I got the v350 off of ebay from a guy in italy! (me being in Colombia, that tells you how little the world is =)

jejej bacano ver otra guitarra de esas aqui en Colombia, yo tengo una pero le hice varias modificaciones, era una guitarra excelente, pero creo que ahora quedo mucho mejor. Lo que menos me gustaba era el floyd licenciado por que nunca volvia al tono exacto!
