Wow through a total of 5 playthroughs i didnt knew you could do anything with the angelic shot, i always kept avoiding it.. And even today i did this mission on Hell and Hell, i just avoided it, and had to keep on fight them like normal.. sigh.. :D

I also got, from killing the Saviour without being hit on Mission 20, I killed him fully and got 1258 Proud souls. It only took about 1min too :D

If you go to level 20 and fight the Saviour, even on easy mode, if you can get him down to the last two bars of health without being hit more than once, it gives me about 600-800 Proud Souls, and it's a lot more fun. Plus, if you do well, you can do it in 30-45 seconds and not have to wait for the Angelic Shot. :| Using Showdown, I got him to 3 bars of health in one combo. :D

another way to get alot of proud souls is play mission 3 all the way to the end(killing ALL enemies) and when you get to the library and defeat the knights DONT get the amina mercury!!!!! instead retry the mission and watch your proud souls amount sky rocket!!

use automastic with nero...it charges your blue rose while you can dodge freely without any trouble

You have to rearrange the controls so shoot is LB and devil trigger is X, then you can charge BR while you fight ;)

And you're shooting the shot itself, not the angelo, so release LB just after it fires the angelic shot.

After, of course. About the shoot and jumping at the same time, the best players change the shoot button to R2 (in ps3), i did that too it is way to easier to charge and do combos at the same time. Just associate that to xbox and do the same (just an advice)

Great trick, but do this on Dante Must Die without getting hit and you get ~2000 PS each run. Hell and Hell gives a bit less cause the Angelos all die instantly and you can't combo the last one for additionnal points

i know a VERY easy way to get proud souls, more difficult than this and a tad longer (shorter if this method takes you 2 mins), go to mission 20 on human, hit the guy til his shield is gone, hit him so he guards, buster him, then hit him again, get to a little more than 1/2 way up in C for stylish points, do DT then buster, do again and you'll be at A in stylish, knock down shields again, then hell charge at you, buster him as he is about to hit you(dont need DT) and SSS, restart and 1400 PS

I find it better to use Dante with Prop and Shredder on those red orb thingies, it gives alot. And for Proud Soul farming, i usually went to Bloody Palace, defeated or lost to Berial, just trying to do it quickly, ended up with quite a few of them each run.

I did the proud soul farming method in DMD mode and got around 1500-2500 proud souls per session. In about 10 minutes I had gotten about 15,000 proud souls. I had beaten the game twice before though and my method is late game only. Good for the more expensive skills though. The last skill alone consts 105,000. Cool vid, keep it up!!!

That depends, it's whatever skill you leave till last. Have you noticed they get more expensive each time you purchase. If you reset the skills they go back cheap. I think I did something like this against the boss echidna. When she shoots seeds at you, you can blast her with a charged shot and you get an immediate SSS. I'm not 100% certain but from seeing this it clicked what I was doing with echidna. Does anybody know if that's true. Or is it another move she creates like her outwards blast?

I have calculated all the time and how much PSs you get.

in mission 2 run you get 1300-1500 in 10 min.

In mission 9 run you get 300-500 in 1 min.

so I'd go with mission 9

the final skill you have to buy will at least cost 100,000 PS and the second to last will cost 50,000 and before that 30,000

getting an s rank on DMD on certain missions gets you 7000 but thats hard

Your right. A level 1 Charge Shot is enough. And if you Exceed every hit on the Orb Rock it will only give you a 1-2 orb boost and this only happens sometimes.

No, that's because you're too slow.

If you let the angelic shot come close to you enemies mmay survive. If you shoot just as they unleash the blast they will all die, guaranteed. It's not rare to have a shieldless bianco or even two survivors.

You're doing it wrong dude. I've experienced that also..and I've come to realize what was the mistake. You said, you release the charged shot "when they start to shoot." You should shoot exactly RIGHT AFTER the projectile has been released - there should be a proper timing to that

Also, it seems if you don't take any damage from the 3 Angelos they always toss the energy ball.

Not 100% sure about that but I have been farming on and off all day and it's panning out to be true.

Hey dude thanks for the GREAT tutorial! Just one thing I noticed, if you continue the level, you run into more angels and can do the SSS rank again. (Inside the Key of Cronus room.) Afterwards you get around 1,000-1,500 proud souls. Sorry I can't make a video response, I lack a capture card... and a computer. (I'm using my wii, lol.) Also, if you get all the red orbs along the way, including the secret stash in the corner before the bridge, you'll get around 6-8,000 added to your collection. :)

Oh, by the way, don't forget about the (snake?) that gives you the blue orb fragment in the back left corner of the room (The room with the lasers on the floor). It also gives you a SSS for exceeding Red Queen while attacking it. As well as a nice group of red orbs. :) Again...

I like the red orb method, but the proud soul method is a little slow. Just keep beating sanctus on the final stage and re-starting the mission. You'll get over 2000 easilly. There's other good ways too. 300-500 is nothing really. Good vid none the less. I'll probably use that orb farming method myself if I ever need orbs.

Thanks, I'm currently playing the game once again to look out for PS farming spots, I can say that this Mission 20 and the first 10 levels in Bloody Palace are the most effective. I will make more video shortly, different things aswell, combos, BP and the likes. I also used a Video Capture Card that my Digital Camera came with lol.

It was charge Shot 3 and it was one hit kill because I shot the Angelic Shot(thats my name for the move, not sure what the proper one is) and it was shot back towards them and exploded, this explosion causes them to instantly die.
