She looks 1000 times better than when she first walked in at 18, but can't this doctor put some cartilage in her nose to give her a more 3-dimensional face and shorten the nose so that the nostrils aren't stretched? Transexuals get facial feminization surgery that removes excess bone and they look beautiful. Why not use the same procedure on her?

I don't mean to seem harsh, but at some point you have to ask what quality of life this girl will have. Yes, she doesn't have the huge growth any more, but she still has a highly disfigured face. If you notice, her fingers are also starting to be affected, they're curled abnormally and can't extend straight. She also limps, so it's affecting her hips/legs. Her life will continue to be one surgery after another. Her life of hiding inside has replaced with one of being put on a freakshow stage.
