  • If cancer is a chronic metabolic disease, as Prof. Beard postulated in 1902 ("chronic" meaning long-lasting/virtually permanent & "metabolic" meaning developing within the body) then no amt. of psychological counseling & affirmation, will save a sufferer from this disease. Scurvy is the result of a vitamin C deficiency. People with a diet that excludes C, given time, will die of scurvy therefore, as logic dictates, those whose diet is inadequate in vitamin B17 will succumb to cancer.

  • My father passed away on 11/16/09 due to a finding of pancreatic cancer, he had the whipple procedure done and after that he had some infection due to the pancreas juices leaking out.. I would have loved him not to have the whipple procedure and lived the way your brother Donnie did.. Surrounded by his loved ones.. !!!.. He never got the chance to meet his 2nd grandchild, but he met his first one

  • Increased survival rate does not mean decreased mortality.

  • Still beats when Katie showed us her view on her back door exam. Democratic funhouse.

  • Hi I saw your awesome video about pancreatic cancer. We are the Hirshberg Foundation for Cancer Research at UCLA medical center. Thanks so much for doing all you do to help find a cure.

Please visit our foundation site at pancreatic "dot" org and we also do a huge run and walk for Cancer in Oct. every Halloween in So. Cal called the LA Cancer Challenge. You can read about it at LACancerChallenge "dot" com

Looking forward to hearing from you and working together to beat this disease.

  • Thank you so much for posting this. My dad died from pancreatic cancer only 10 weeks after he was diagnosed. Unfortunately this disease is often gone unoticed until it's too late. Both my mother-in-law & father-in-law (twice) have had a fight with colon cancer - so I also want to thank you, Katie, for bringing light to that as well.

  • Katie, thanks so much for helping to raise awareness about Pancreatic Cancer.

  • I hope a way to diagnose this death sentence disease earlier is found.
