Jak 2 - All 286 Precursor Orbs (Hero Mode)

Can someone help me ? I have finish the game, stay in 1st in all races, gun courses, jet board challenges, collect all orbs from the levels, do the special mission. I only have 262. Help me please.

I'm going through it on the PS3, and I checked off every single orb that you can find out in the open, did every side mission, got first in everything, and I'm at 283 T.T

@Vid992 did u quit the game after beating a side mission? (the ones that are not get to an orb challenge)

because in those challenges, the game auto saves immediately BEFORE u r given the 3 orbs and by quitting the game afterwards, u won't have those 3 orbs but the auto save remembers that u have completed that side mission and no way to do the side mission again to regain the orbs

u should save the game after getting the 3 orbs from a side mission that is not a get to an orb challenge

When you beat the game then unlock hero mode, do all the precursor orbs come back? because Im trying to get all the precursor orbs and I have them all in the mission areas except medal head nest and once you beat the game you can't go back to the medal head nest. help?

@Chrisruler1 Hero Mode is like starting the game over again. You can't go back to the Metal Head nest once you beat the game (Kor).

@TheTanman1234543 to lets say I had 150 precursor orbs. Then I start a hero mode. The I collect 136 more precursor orbs, will I get the jak 2 trophy for collecting 286 precursor orbs?

Took me 49 minutes to get this trophy yesterday using this glitch (After getting 125 orbs), after beating Jak 3, I'm doing the same thing.

@LILJOKER2341 Just time it perfectly. 0:00 actually is 0:01. I only managed to do it like 3 times though. I also got 286 orbs on the ps3 a couple days ago.

If you start a new game with hero mode do you get to restart the game with your dark jak abilities too? O_o

@DaireScully No, but you can get to buy Dark Jak unlimited early at 25 orbs. Same with ammo and invulnerability.

Damn ! That is some hard shit to accomplish. I remember playing this back in the day when it came out. I could never get all orbs. Jak 3 was much easier.

@MrBasuso Enemies are harder to kill. You get the weapons to begin with; and the secrets like Invulnerabilty and Infinite Ammo require less Orbs. Oh and you get the Jetboard too.

@patek089 In what game Jak 3 has 600, Jak 1, 2000. In Jak 2 you can get more than 286 by glitching..... and thats only for cheaters though.

You can glitch orbs in jak 2? I though only 3 was the glitch orb tricks.

@jaycaz31 Its pretty easy. Just stay on the rail and do tricks. Repeat that (using different tricks) and you should get it without a problem.
