I think this is the independance wheel from American force correct me if I'm wrong but I also believe this is about a 8 inch lift with maybe nitto all terrain 37's I am just guessing though and holy shit at the tourqe that truck produces
Could someone please tell me the wheel/tire/lift combination on this dodge? I have a dually and would like to replicate this look. Are there any more videos of this truck?
Turbo is an option for most diesel engines u should check your facts maybe not for brand new trucks but look at trucks in the late 80s early 90s and the reason Im asking is Im looking at bying a 1993 ford F250 supercab 7.3 non turbo diesel.
but i will tell you that if you buy a disel engine without a turbo you will have a huge problem with the intake and exhaust if you plan on using it for towing
wrong...yes you can, a lot of early diesels were not turbo diesels, and even today some diesels, mainly in small tractors and diesel lawnmowers dont have turbos... everything else does now just because a turbo can push more air into a cylinder than just natural aspiration...thus resulting in lower Exhaust gas temp, better fuel economy, and more power... get your facts right bro...
All your new trucks now days come with turbos. But you can still get plenty of tractors, construction equipment, pumps, generators, utv's without turbos. Trucks just work better with turbos. 6.2 7.3 6.9 tractors etc all from all the way up to the early 90s were n/a turbo just works better.
That is the dumbest thing i have ever heard. Dodge was the first of the big three to put a turbo in a diesel in the 80's and diesel engines have been around longer than automobiles. I have 2 new pieces of equipment that dont even have turbos on their DIESEL ENGINES
@austinval1 Funny? Rudolph Diesel invented the engine in 1896. First Diesel powered submarine was launched in 1904. First home "fuel oil" furnace was put in place in 1871. Stop spitting out random bogus info.
Not Illegal if you don't have to go through smog inspections. and if it is, who gives a shit. You don't hear people bitching about gassers hacking off their cats now do you?
Is that a timming surge i see at the top of the run? you can hear the motor shutter a little and see the straps bounce. I cant wait to see what happens with these 6.7L's. I think 618 is just the tip of the ice berg!
That is the turbo setting off a code, we have the truck back in the shop creating a box that will remove that shutter. Plus we have just recieved a new tune and the power is unreal!!!!
EFI is going to do wonders for these motors

This comment has received too many negative votes show
a good turbo will improve your trucks power by up to 50% so itll double it
obscuredninja 3 years ago

can non turbo diesel produce alot of black smoke
mccyankeefan 3 years ago
haha
you cant have diesel without a turbo....
the engine wont build enough pressure inside of the combustion chamber to ignite the diesel...

but i will tell you that if you buy a disel engine without a turbo you will have a huge problem with the intake and exhaust if you plan on using it for towing
adriantorres89135 3 years ago
Then why did the have turbo as an option and why did the make non turbo diesels
mccyankeefan 3 years ago
because turbos havent always been around

The answer is yes. I have seen some 6.2 6.9 7.3 n/a make smoke but it clears out when the revs rise.
