  • my word...if that nose had been on a real car in a real race...then they all standing around like WTF!!...DUMMIES

  • FAIL

  • That's the only part of the car they ever build. And they destroyed it. Good job.

  • Everytime I see a USF1 video I see 4 idiot saying yes with their heads, a guy in a suit, three computer and a F1 nose. If that's their progress God bless them for the next race! XD

  • @santidltp What race ? The team doesn't even exist anymore !

  • @ev0lash please do educate us as to what technology and parts are american in f1.. go on i'd like a good laugh,, you yanks just like to imagine that the world cannot run without your input, so if you have the technology why the fuck are you not world champions already using your own car and team.. get a life m8 the u.s aint fuckall in motorsport. tosser

  • @ugofky well said my man!

  • I see you Cletus Corncraver! xD

    /redneck joke

  • This video perfectly symbolizes the progress of USF1. XD

  • I wonder what USF1's budget is ? $20 mil? $40 mil? $60 mil? they need help just look at what there up against ferrari's budget for 2003 was $443,800,000 million (The Price of Formula 1

  • As a european F1 fan I really hope they make it to the grid. But its been awfull quiet lately...

  • comeon now those serbian gangsters are gonna steal your grid spot!

  • i don't think they're gonna "steal" their grid spot, USF1 are months behind schedule. and now they want to start 4 races in? Stefan GP have a car ready, they just need need someone to drop out, it just makes sense that it's USF1.

Don't get me wrong, i fully welcome a US team with US drivers on what is a predominately a European dominated sport. But by judging USF1's progress, they don't deserve a spot as it stands.

  • Is it me or should USF1 have weekly updates on youtube since that is supposed to be there main sponsor? Coverage and progress seem a little slow.... But I dont want to send any bad vibes... Good luck guys... and you better make it to Bahrain.. "Ask not what you can do for your country, but what your country can do for you" Git er Dun!

  • Did they pass this crash test then?

  • contrary to what naysayers say this team will make the grid.

  • @gothot1216 Lol.

  • @gothot1216

    I guess not.

  • ..the music pless..( who sings this song) ?

  • I hope USF1 does well.. it's gonna be very hard starting a new F1 team from scratch, but I can't wait to see them on track! ;)

  • @dharmafreak

i dont think thir driver choice was very good. first season though cant blame them

  • The Cranfield Impact Centre (CIC) at Cranfield University in the UK conducts these tests for the majority of the F1 grid. CIC also undertakes tests for other formulae.

  • We Brazilians are very happy to have an American Team in F1. Welcome guys e and keep doing a great job as you always did.

    Leo from Brazil

  • @leo1958 What do the brazilians have to do with the Yankees? With so many good drivers you guys should build your own F1 team, not support private american entrepreneurs. That's like us portuguese rooting for Vitaly Petrov because we're too stupid to invest in our own talent, and since Petrov is Russian (thus, European), it's all good...

    NOT!

  • in the end of cosworth whats your engine ford or other american engine

  • well the thing is f1 issnt even as big as soccer (futbol) if you wanna call it that. which isn't even the top 4 popular sports in America watched. things are done here differently as they are over in europe. plus evolash is right, many f1 teams use american technology as wel as we use other sections of the worlds technology.

  • It's my understanding that a lot of F1 teams are sourcing tools and parts from the US as well. I don't think any team is completely "in house". As far as American F1 drivers, The sport just isn't big here. If F1 were considered the top notch of motorsport (like it should be) by more Americans I'm sure there would be more drivers move into it. Without US involvement how can a young kid aspire to grow up and be a F1 driver? Our country needs a team to get behind. Hopefully USF1 is it!

  • @ev0lash The parts part is relative, in my opinion... McLaren, Mercedes, Ferrari, Toyota, Brawn... all engines made in Europe. The ones who doesn't make their own engines, buy them from other factory who's already in F1. On the other hand, I absolutely agree with the fact that an american team will encourage kids to become F1 drivers, but the passion is born everywhere. Finland doesn't have an F1 team, or Brazil, or even German didn't a while ago, but world champions came from those countries.

  • Wouldnt it be a better idea for the USF1 team to be based in Europe? This test must have cost a fortune as they had to ship the car over to England just to smash up the nose, then bring it back to the US. Most teams are based in Britain because of the pool of facilities and F1 folk there.

  • We have a lot of engineering resources ourselves, actually. I think that a lot of other things will be cheaper because the team is based here instead of Europe.

  • @spilsby88

It was just the nose cone so presumably it'd be cheap to just ship that over and have it tested. The team will have an operations center in Spain where I guess the car will be staged, but it will be manufactured in the US.

Charlotte is the home of US racing so the assumption is that there no shortage of resources there. What's missing the specific F1 experience, but I think they'll overcome that in time.

  • are you kidding...? okay, so as soon as you get to the tub, or the survival cell as u call it... lol the drivers feet are within 3 inches. that whole thing disintegrated and took what looks like 60-70% of the blow out of it... thats leaving 30-40% of the impact on the tub with the drivers feet basically touching the end? i know its supposed to disintegrate, but that was too much. and nascar? you dont know who you're talking to...

  • I recommend you read u on the bits of the car, because I don't think you're grasping the physics at play here, alexellis38.

  • please, explain. and once again, just dont assume too much, you dont know what i know or who i am...

  • alexellis, you better stick to NASCAR...

  • Hopefully this is wrong then...

"According to claims in Sunday's Gazzetta dello Sport, USF1 have applied to the FIA for special dispensation to miss the first few fly away races of the season. The team reportedly want instead to start their campaign at April's Spanish GP. "

  • The dispensation you talking about is to test the car in the states before they send it to Europe for the official test sections...

  • that didnt look good at all... goodbye drivers feet and lower legs.!

  • @alexellis38: It's the nose cone, not the survival cell. It's designed to break apart to absorb part of the energy of the collision.

  • i dont think my grandchildren will live to see the world as we see it now... man, come on!!! it´s a video about F1, and all i read is people cursing and hating each other about their nationality... Seriously, the end gotta be near...

  • acessem meu canal no youtube la voce vai encontrar acidentes fatais ,humor e muito mais

  • what song is this i feel i know it?

  • Good to see USGPE making the media eat their own words. All that rubbish speculation that this team wouldn't be ready for Bahrain...eat it! 2010 is going to be an exciting year. Oh and please help convince Eccelstone to bring the Grand Prix back to America.

  • He did, it's at Montreal in June.

  • @tsubodzuka HAHAHAHA

  • Guarantee that in the first race their drivers will think "OH Shit! A corner!" and wipe out half the field. Koybiashi FTW!

  • Comment removed

  • I bet that will be a Discovery Channel program in the future.

  • USF1 OK

    Peter Windsor? KO Hamilton fanboy...

  • Great video. Looking forward to F1 more than ever. Go team USF1!

  • Americans will fight in the latest line of the battle.

    Forza Alonso!

  • Did the nose cone pass the crash test then? It Seemed pretty destroyed to me?

  • Yes, it passed. It's supposed to break.

  • Yes. They do the same test with indycar. It need to be completely destroyed to absorve the maximum of impact.

  • @Goodmorning snowflake, Well Said.

  • its time to get some unis and look more professional, this is f1 remember?? anyway good luck and i hope that you'll make it to barhain this year

  • Good luck USF1 on your first championship!

  • greatest country in the world, dipshit

  • you are stupid idiot. USA is most stupid nation in the world.they can only eat their fucking fastfood. and their language is poor for cursing. they have "f u c k i n g" word only. i repeat, stupid nation.

  • @F1Slunk Romamzk is a Cunt but please don't generalize, Idiots are everywhere.

  • english language limit me. if i speak in my native language you will flow shit on your head))))))))

  • well, as i sayed you can only say FUCK. and no more. ahahahah. do you know who won WW?

  • 3rd World =/= Third world, lol, moron. Your playing up to his "Americans are ignorant" statement. American's arent, not by a long shot, but you're clearly a muppet.

  • Stitch216 What makes you so fucking smart?I've read all of your comments and you've really brought nothing to the table but hatred towards Americans in f1. BTW your guitar playing SUCKS,stick to your day job you YOU LIMEY FUCK

  • Yes, my guitar playing does suck, which is CLEARLY RELEVANT to a conversation about your ignorance.

No hatred for Americans in F1, just a poor opinion evidenced by my posts. And don't fucking call me English.

  • As a nation yes, they amaze me at how dumb they are. Im glad i live somewhere that when i fall over i dont have to worry about money or dealing with companies that profit from not treating me, or when my town floods i don't have to worry about racist people leaving my town for dea or my children growing up in a pathetic education system. I dont have to worry because i live in Europe. Statistically a better place than America. And its not USA because your not united in any way.

  • You're just as ignorant.

  • damn arrogant (would all be speaking german) europeans... same goes for a lot of the would be speaking japanese asians (including the ones at my country)... i'm not american nor do i support all of their policies now.. but it's sad how easily forgetful the world seems to be... yes "the good war" should still be brought up until now.. well just my opinion.. no hating... bottomline is we're all just F1 fans here..

  • Well, I guess I´m damn arrogant european, because I´ve seen 55 comments here and before your statement there haven´t been any America bashing.Or are you being selective?

Fuck all those idiots who choose to generalize people by their nationality.

  • @mustang 6172 - Cheers fellah!

  • Nice hope you prove Bernie wrong.

  • The irony here is amazing.

  • I'm as American as a guy can get, and a US Military veteran to boot, but if you believe that, you simply have no understanding of how good and competitive everyone already in Formula 1 is. The USF1 guys would laugh at what you've just said too. I'm certain of it.

I wish USF1 success, but I'm confident they'll have very little.

  • Lol. Seeing as almost every American driver thats made a foray into 'European' F1 has been utterly, utterly shit, and that former F1 drivers have come into America's joke of motorsport (corners should go both ways) and pwned it in their first seasons, coupled with the fact that the last three US teams to enter F1 sucked ass, forgive me I think your comment, and you, are full of shit.

  • wtf? name one former F1 driver who has "pwned" anything in NASCAR in his first year. You can't. montoya did nothing but crash his first year. Villenue couldnt even qualify for the Daytona 500, and scott speed hasnt done shit. The fact is NASCAR IS difficult, so get over it.

  • Just one driver? Fine. Nigel Mansell. 1993.Joined the Newman/Hass Indycar team and dominated the season; in fact took pole position and won his first race.

I never specified NASCAR. As for the people you've named; Montoya was a sack of shit, Villeneuve was awful even in Formula One; he was given the strongest car by a country mile that year and still made a pigs ear of winning things. Scott Speed, what a lol, he was fucking awful in the Toro Rosso cars.

  • And Michael Andretti sucked in Formula One too, now that I think about it. American drivers just aren't up to it. Which is why even the USF1 team - who came in swinging their fists and singing and shouting about being all American - are now going to use foreign drivers, they have some foreign engineers and designers, and they are using some foreign tools and materials. For all you Americans harp on about being the greatest country in the world, why couldn't all this be done in the US?

  • @j4pan HAHAHAHA

  • it doesn't look so good xd

  • It's time to grow up guy.

  • Did it pass?

  • Nice... Carbon fiber destructions in high definition. :)

  • Nobody said clear that JML is a driver of USF1, i hope when campos goes down, we hope not, that senna comes to USF1! he is so good

  • I love your videos! This is what F1 teams need to do.

  • Is that Bob Varsha next to Peter Windsor?

  • lol good catch, i think. looks like it.

  • Keep the destruction in the lab, not on the track!

    Good Luck USF1!

  • they are posting on YOU TUBE because YOU TUBE is their major sponsor!

  • ahhh that's a Beck song. Can't remember which, but yeah, good destruction vid.

  • @ bizzutch6 E-pro

    And Pechito Lopez? :S

  • Great to have US F1 videos and better to have FI in my home town, Charlotte NC USA

  • Art in destruction. Wonderful! Hope you'll keep posting these awesome videos!

  • Brilliant bassline. Who does the music?

  • @texport93 I believe that was E-pro by Beck.

  • Loving the way USF1 are bringing F1 to the masses with these videos - mroe teams should follow suit please!!

  • What was the impact speed? I'm pretty sure that wasn't meant to happen.

Keep up the good work though, will be looking forward to seeing all cars on the grid.

  • Another milestone...good to hear an on-track test is scheduled too!

  • Congrats boys! Can't wait to see the sidepod crash test! As a huge American F1 fan I truly wish you guys the very very best in 2010 and beyond!

  • wow great video so please say what are your drivers please! i can't sit still on my chair :D:D

  • @ChristinaLegner JML is one of the drivers...

  • I'll probably know who you mean when i hear who, but who are you referring to as JML??

  • @radonma Jose Maria Lopez, I put the abbreviation, then realized that most probably wouldnt get it...

  • Thanks for that! Just read about Jose Maria Lopez, he sounds like such an unremarkable driver judging by his past results - let's hope if he is in F1 he really shines!

  • nice work , keep this up

  • This is cool, I'll be watching and supporting USF1 next season.

  • Good job fellas, keep these cool videos coming!!

  • love your videos!! more please!

  • I hope you'll be the best of new teams. Greetings from Poland.

  • Thanks for this level of access to my favorite motorsport. You guys are awesome to allow this. No one else in F1 will. Keep it up.

  • apart from lotus...

  • really good to see what goes on behind the scenes of a f1 team!

  • Yeah! You did it!

  • I'm still waiting for the video to load, but the fact that you are posting this online to shut up your deniers is amazing. I don't understand where all the negativity has come from against USF1 compared to the other new teams.. You've shown WAY more activity than all the other teams put together, congratulations! :).

  • Except for Lotus, but then again they have the Malaysian Government behind them
