I got a kitten once and her head almost fell of her shoulders, she even started to produce milk for the kitten while she hasn't had a litter of her own in over a year!! She loved nursing the cat so much that she would sometimes go looking for her to feed her. The bad part was that sometimes she would constantly try to steal my other dogs puppies.

A proper breeder, a Pom will cost about $1200-$1500. And I totally agree with digupmyheart - rescue! Puppy stores get their puppy "stock" from puppy mills. You may think you're rescuing these puppies, but really you're only making room for people to breed their poor mothers further. :(

That Rat sure likes his dog collar lol, when you do this with puppies they get use to having a different species of animal around them and see it as harmless. it's much easier then trying it with a full grown Dog, it's kinda like a human baby learning things. That's why I suggest to people if your going to get a dog, always get it as a puppy unless you need an adult dog for some reason or want to save an abandoned dog that is already an adult.
