any device that uses the standard 1/8" jack (like the jack on the end of your headphones / earbuds) or rca cables can be connected to this or any other aux speaker systems and realy thats all this is, a portable set of amplified speakers. so yes you can plug your laptop into it, you computer, or any other audio device you could think of.
i got a 12vdc car cigarette adapter for mine free when i purchased my ikick, at the beach or where ever i ran it off a jump start power pack that has 12v socket built in
I have a kicker sound system in my truck and I love it. I recently bought some kicker earbuds and they sound like I'm in my truck! I'm real picky about bass (I like allot of it) and kicker exceeds my expectations! You can always expect the best Bass and all-around sound from kicker. Smokes anything out there!
@gbryan32 lol i have a mercedes with the bose system also, first thing i did was pull out the little sub drivers the factory installed ( 2x 6" drivers i think it was) and replaced them with a 12" alpine typeR + alpine v power mrp-m500 (mono 500RMS) i have not replaced any of the other components because bose does sound great, just lacking in deep bass =D

The iK500 ROCKs! I use my iPhone with it everyday and piss off my pansy roommates and the neighbors with loud and clear bass!
It plays louder than the Bose System in my Mercedes! Which is not saying a whole lot. LOL!
