As for the LEGAL RIGHTS that u claim he had, the Supreme Ct disagrees w/ u. And the only right an ofc has to remove a person from his car is to arrest him or to insure the ofc's safety. And destination is not relevant to a charge of speeding. He just wanted to check me out to see if I was up to something. That is profiling.

He was dumb for 1) answering questions and 2) cooperating in field sobriety tests. NEVER do the tests. Why help a cop convict you? He is not your doctor and does not know what could be expected of you on balance tests and other physical things.

I submitted to the test b/c I was not drunk and the test would show that. However, he knew I wasn't drunk. Once I realized it wasn't about my state of alleged impairment, I ceased to cooperate. And in such circumstances, they have the authority to arrest. I cooperated to avoid the inconvenience of being arrested.

What you fail to grasp is that the cops get to interpret your results. I guarantee from the cops view of your movements, regardless of how perfect you were, they see you as drunk. Thats why courts have said you do not have to do fst. Because it allows the cop to be judge and jury and a very biased one at that.

All they can do is issue a ticket which is an allegation of wrong doing. The fact still remains, that they r usually the only ones at a stop that r legally armed. And n the real world it is best to cooperate w/ someone who is armed and getting arrested is at least an inconvenience.

I told the clerk that the officer only issued a DUI ticket that night, not a speeding. She looked at her computer & said, 'Oh, he mailed it to u.' Ultimately, I got the speeding case reopened. The cop didn't show day of trial. I was pissed b/c I wanted to confront him at trail.

only thing you are required to answer is your identification to a police officer. Other than that, there's absolutely nothing that you need to answer, it is your constitutional right. And in this particular case, the idiot cop was simply hell bent on arresting the driver. He was obviously frustrated after the guy passed the walking the line test. I really commend the way the driver of that vehicle handled the situation in such a calm and composed manner.

I don't care what color you are, you are going to get booked if you cross an officer like this.
