I have been looking for something to back a WWI poetry reading I am doing for a women's group (not commercial). This video is just brilliant, visually and musically. But I can't download it. If you can help I guarantee it will only be used for this purpose. Thanks.
anyone viewing these moving and horrific images who did not get the chance to see the great play "journey's end" on broadway missed the unmissable. that play which just closed on broadway is the greatest tribute to the soldiers of any war i have ever seen. they included the memorial wall for the 58,000 unknown soldiers during the curtain call. there was not a dry eye in the house. people should read the play.
That's a coincendence, I'm actually in that play at the moment, just got back from rehersal in fact. I play the German soldier and several other small parts. Great play, saw it in London.
I've just finished playing Stanhope in a production in Hong Kong. The play is by far and away the best tribute to the fallen of WW1 that stage has to offer. Good luck in your portrayal of the innocent youth Raleigh!
Very well put together. It is unimaginable to even contemplate the horror they had witnessed. However for they're valor and gallentry I have pledged to never forget what they have done on the Ridge and for Canada. On April 7th I will post my tribute to those men in Honour of the 90th Anniversery of Vimy. Watch the trailer I have posted. You will see it above if you scroll down. "From the Ridge" trailer it's called.
Страшное видео.. Лучше покажите улыбку или что-то повеселее...Окопы,мертвые солдаты ....................................................................................................................................................
I don't know what to say. That was something more moving that what I have ever seen here on Youtube. Not saying everything else is worthless on the contrary all are very good and moving but this one is aboslutly very well done.
Very moving footage...and you are genial composer,if it is your own composition.God blees these brave men,who gave their lifes for country and family.Nowadays people do not know much about this bloody war and they have not respect....
it seems to be footage from the british side of "battle of the somme" but i wouldn't know for sure
