This is a 7-foot white wax wood tree, removed of branches and slightly sanded down. This kind of staff is very flexible in nature and thus doesn't break easy - in line with Taoist principles. Should work very well with your Ba Gua principles!
Good demonstration. I don't see why you have to be a certain race to do martial arts. If you take the time to practice and dedicate yourself to it there should be no problem. It's the half-assed efforts that are embarassing.

The Chinese in that cartoon, in case you haven't noticed, are actually more pale... Than the Simpsons. Now the real question: Why did you make an allusion to a cartoon series about the color of characters' skin to their ethnicity.
Anyways those are not those silly Wushu staffs you see in the shows... lightning fast but no impact. No my friend these are solid white waxwood, a full tree cut off. I hit my partner in the head one time by accident (?) and knocked him out!
