GTA 100%, I baught JC2 because of the vids I saw of people messing around like it was a free roam game from the start but I got to the second mission and just gave up because the story was just sooooo boring and I wanted to explore it as thats the whole point of a sandbox game, being able to explore from the start but I couldnt see how i could do that when i got put straight into missions.

I played both and I was A huge fan of Gta. I played vice city,liberty city,gta4,and gta 4 eisodes.Also spent 40+ hours eaxh game but when I played Just cause 2 I played it for 60-70 hours non stop everyday after school :D It's my Favorite game of all time!!! :D

Just cause 2 Is the only videogame in its class since you can just keep releasing parachutes and you have a grappling hook. It's a game made to be unrealistic and that is why its more fun and better. The massive map gives you free reign in what is actually an entire country without ever hitting a load screen. You can jack pretty much anything that moves from tanks to military aircraft to 747 jets and tie em together to unleash hell unto all whom stand in your path. The weapons r also mor fun

just cause 2: story sucks AI sucks driving vehicles sucks weapons suck NO realism AT ALL who would ever stand on an airplane withoud moving during takeoff LOL only good physics and beautiful environment in Just Cause 2 GTA IV great story amazing graphics but the environment like mountains etc are not so good as in JC2. AI is very realistic especially the police. GTA IV wins if you compare 2 games, jc2 is just fun.

lol that's NOT true. you can 'play interactive movies', those are called RPGs. However, gta is not an rpg but it has a decent story and great scenes. 'fun' in my comment on this video means 'standing on an airplane during take off' or such things.

You can't really compare them, cuz apart from a few things, they're completely different games. in gta 4, you're just a common, everyday criminal. In just cause 2, you're a professional with a whole crapload of insane vehicles and weapons, plus a friggin gigantic island, liberty city is a midget in comparison. I like them both for there different features, but love the insaneness a lot more, so I choose just cause 2 for fun, and gta 4 (or tlad, or tbogt) when i want a good story, and realism.

Well, GTA IV is more focused on the underground world and all, and in my opinion GTA IV's storyline is great and better than Just Cause 2. The car physics & driving is much better in GTA IV. Just cause 2, as I know (i don't own the game), just cause 2 has improved graphics and a better map. I've been amazed when i saw the heights u can reach and crashing cars off high mountains (xD). Just Cause 2 is more focused on the millitary, combat, fighting & that. In my opinion, both games are great.

Just cause 2 because its more open world and realistic, as gta 4... if you fly out of a car, wack your head on something, and hit the ground, you get back up and wipe yourself off. JC2 if you fly out of a car, wack your head, and fall on the ground your dead. One way of showing realisticness,(if thats even a word). JC2 is more open world because you have a whole island. Gta4 is only a state, but larger than your average state. In the end JC2 wins.

dude some people don't care about how realistic the game it is mostly how some people play it. also if you want to talk about unrealistic GTA 4 is unrealistic as well. A guy with guns that randomly appear when you select them get shot int the head like 5 times before dieing, and running from like 50-100 cops. Both games are unrealistic. But don't get me wrong i thing both games have their own ups and unfortunately their downs. I would prefer both
