Great Swiss Mountain dog in Obedience competition - 184.5 points/ 3rd place!

First of all, this is one good looking Swissy, nice job to you. He is well-trained, I wish my brother is so well mannered :) And, the hell I don't understand is how the heck is he 3rd place?! Not even second, but third... Something is wrong there, it must be corrupted :) Tell mi please, is he/she a good guardian? I am looking for something in between, but in mastiff family. Bull-mastiff, Cane-Corso or Dogue de Bordeaux, so I will take any help I can ged. Tnx :)

Thank you for the praises:) At this time between 3rd and 2nd place was only 0.5 point difference :))) But the most important thing here is that all the time he was willing to work with me as a team.

I would say swissies are really good guardian dogs. They are barking towards the strangers (especially if they live in a territory), and what I like the most - they don't bark for no reason (just to bark) :) If they are started to bark, you know that really something is going on.

@Agnejaz Yes, I think that this is it. I sure don't look for something aggressive or not tolerant. This video helped me a lot. And your answer. A good guardian is essential, to be ready for bite and fearless, but yet gentle. I think this breed is what I am looking for. Thanx a lot!
