i did that by mistake but water didnt actually freeze but turned something like melting snow !

Put the water in the freezer and keep it there just until before it starts to freeze, any agitation to it causes it to instantly freeze since its temperature has gone below freezing

@fcafreak It's a chemical thing that when activated in the water it does that.

@fcafreak This happens because of super cooling. The water is liquid but the temperature of the water is below it's freezing point. The shock from when the bottle smacked creates nucleation sites. These nucleation sites starts a cascade of ice crystal formation, which causes the water to instantly freeze.

They did this on Mythbusters but instead of water they used beer.
