  • I wish Ray had found a group that could have made him as popular and well known as he should be. Not knocking Army of Anyone ... but RP is no Veder, Weiland, or Staley. Still, great music and good song.

  • Richard Patrick - EASILY one of the best singers of our time =)

  • Luzier is a drumming god!

  • ♪Goodbye~ wish YOU (AOA) were still here!

  • Loving Ray at the end :)

  • Dean DeLeo is my hero

  • Damn...the lyrics in this song make me think of my brother who killed himself a year ago and my daughter who left for college last weekend...ouch. ;( Great song...

  • @ForcedAgenda damn what a baby

  • @jeanismohamed I'm a baby because this song raises some sentiment in me? Wow, you must have lots of friends...

  • @ForcedAgenda and you must have lots of tissues lying around. Yes let's talk about friends... But sorry, I dont have a sad story for you. Poor lonely old man.. :'(??

  • @jeanismohamed What's wrong with you so that you have to start insulting strangers on youtube? bloody idiot. can you imagine how it must be to lose your brother?

  • @burt2800 you know what irony means?

  • @jeanismohamed Isn't that when something is full of iron?

seriously, you can't expect anyone to understand that on youtube, with all the trolls around.

  • @burt2800 No, for example.. calling someone a "bloody idiot" while thinking irony means "something full of iron" is a perfect definition of the word irony.

You're on the internet.... If you don't know the definition of something, it would take 5 seconds to look it up and educate yourself. You've proven to me how smart you are.

  • @jeanismohamed Haha, well I'd think you'd get that. You see? impossible to tell if someone means something ironically on the internet. I was being ironic myself, I know that word.

    No bad feelings?

  • @jeanismohamed I hate to have to be the one to break it to you, but you will never be a robot. For one thing, your brain can't be replaced with cold machinery without destroying your memories and sense of self. For another, robots recognize their own.

  • @thegorillasnake Time and place for everything buddy. I can be a robot through the internet.

  • @jeanismohamed Ah, but the Internet doesn't get rid of your pesky emotions.

  • The drums are upfront in the chorus enough. Great mix all around.

  • drum fills at the end were way sick........almost Dennis Chambers sounding....

  • I got to see AOA three times. As good as I thought the album was, the crowds just wern't turning up for their shows. Blame promotion? I dunno...

  • Like this song,well done.

  • The damn drums need to be louder in the chorus, he's playing the tightest beat of all times......

  • Thumbs up if you remember this song from the girl pooping in the hot tub.

  • Holy drums.

    This band freakin rocks.

I don't get how people can dislike great stuff like this.

12 people don't know talent. Or good music for that matter.

  • @muffinheadrebel They're probably comparing it to STP. I mean, this is basically a Stone Temple Pilots song minus Scott, and Scott's...pretty amazing.

That said, on its own this is awesome.

  • @AeolianSeventh Scott is good, but he wouldn't make this song any better, IMO. Right here, Rich Patrick is out-Scott Weilanding Scott Weiland. Makes me wonder what the latest STP coaster would sound like if Rich was singing on it.

Scott Weiland should've died after the first Velvet Revolver album hahahah just kidding. Kinda.

  • man gotta love them drums XD lol

  • @dre967 gotta love RAY LUZIER .. the drummer ... this guy is a freak! You can find a lot more stuff of him in youtube..

  • @Whiskmos ya dude Ray is an incredible drummer he has crazy fills in this song. He is one of my favorite drummers. He also has great creativity on the drums. too bad this band split up.

  • i dont care as long as stp stays together

  • Anyone have the Stripped performances by these guys? The 3 or 4 acoustic songs they did? I WANT THE AUDIO SOOO BAD!

  • Holly freaking drum fills at the end of that song Batman

  • Chris Cornell wannabe?

  • @ivanspecs no mames jajajaaj nada q ver

  • Fuckin Sweet.

Rob Patrick one of the best Rock voices of the last 25 years!

Also props to the Bros. DeLeo

  • i hope that when Scott Weiland goes into jail again the DeLeo brother reunite AOA to give us a second album!

  • Excellent voice. Filter rules.

  • Ray Luzier is the fuckin man

  • Still Effin Awesome!!!

  • drumming=epic

  • Damn - AND that Robert De Leo is hot!

  • WOW! I don't see how this band slipped past me without me ever hearing about them. I think that this is some good stuff. If Ray Luzier never joined Korn I'd probably never get the chance to know about this band.

  • Dude, i dont usually like music like this and i like this song. Its just so...Good!

  • wish i could have married the band. they are so great. sighhhh lol

  • koco liks this video...

  • Man i wish these guys do another album, this band was fantastic! I like this much better then filter

  • @mikemik712 Filter is amazing.

  • @thefoosa72 I am not saying filter wasnt good but i am just saying how powerful this band was and didnt get the love they deserved! One of my favorite albums in the last 10 years!!!

  • Too bad they don't have the full drum solo on this video, would make it even more sick

  • And RIP Janice, I miss you and god rest your soul forevermore.

  • This explosive drum fill @ 3:19 should put this kid in the musicians hall of fame (if there was one)....it's not just how hard it is to play, it's the HEAVY SOLID FEEL he keeps up with every note and still mashes the crash cymbals at the end with the same feel!...there is no slop, and NO LOSS OF FEEING!!!...Just balls-out Mashing! Want to see this guy on the Korn tour now that he is playing with them.

  • @thestrawhead 100% agree with you, drumming at its absolute best.

  • @thestrawhead This 'kid' happens to be 40. XP

  • @thestrawhead there is a rock and roll hall of fame in Cleveland, Ohio. Shame he isn't better known.

  • The solo in this song is ALOT better than most of what you hear nowadays for solo's...

  • KORN's drummer now - Go uncle Ray!

  • Ray Luzier!

  • A close family member of mine died recently and this chorus just makes me break down, good song good voice gotta love it

  • if Stone Temple Pilots mother fucked Audioslaves father, this is what you'd get. now STP and audioslave have an akward half-brother

  • guitar solo could be better...

  • @Aurell25420 No one more melodic than Dean! Were you hoping for a display of speed? It could be one note, 3 notes o however many, Dean always lays it down 100% to what the song calls for, just like his brother!

  • I want the same drum kit !!

  • The chorus reminds me of an STP song from the 90's for some reason. lol.

  • @doctorshifty83 me too!!

  • the outro drum fills are spectacular to say the least....

  • Really amazing song.

    Keep sonic melodic rock alive!

  • this song makes reach the nirvana state aways

  • lovin' the solo pretty much

  • Powerfull song

  • Thank God, there are still some bands out there that actually play Rock and Roll instead of the crap by Lady Gag Gag, and the typical bullshit "alternative" crap that all sounds the same. A crappy drummer, a guitar player who actually knows 3 chords and does nothing but bang them out, and a singer who tries to sound like Eddie Vedder. It's an "Alternative" to music. But these guys are badass.

  • 11 dislikes.......... wut

  • army of anyone, no thanks to scott weiland

  • @captxxchaos Richard Patrick was friends with the DeLeos for many years and when they first got together, it was to write a song for the fourth Filter record. what does Scott Weiland have to do with AOA?

  • Ray luzzier is awesome, nice song

  • good thing that they will reunite and make a second album :)

  • @miriveq LOL No they wont...

  • @miriveq if you like this check out a band called Filter, same vocalist :)

  • @YourafucksiclE i knew about filter long before i knew about AOA ;) if ud check my channel ud see that i posted some of their songs lol. and yeah, AOA wont make another one. shame. most underrated band of the 2000's.

  • @miriveq oh hahhaha lol and only heard of them for the first time last night :P this song is pretty good, but i prefer filter tbh, yeah but that being said there are loads of underrated bands of the 2000s :P

  • im so glad Ray Luzier is in Korn! soooo much better than David Silvera

  • im really glad ray luzier is with korn now he is awesome

  • hugely underrated and a fantastic debut album, would be great to see them back on the road again.

  • I think the whole band rocks. I don't know what the fuck everyone is talking about the singing. Richard Patrick is a great singer.

  • music is awesome, singer is gay

  • @UncharteDNY I suggest jumping off the side of the tallest building near you!

  • @UncharteDNY Richard Patrick gay? you're an idiot... and don't know much about music.

  • @UncharteDNY you obviously dont know shit about music dude..

or have any knowledge of what R&R is about..

Patrick is one of the greatest singers.. if not one of the best of all time..

hell even sTp look up to him, and his truth in music..

you obviously could keep to your lady Gaga and Beyonce Nursery rhymes but when it comes to rock n roll stay the fuck away.. from it

because you obviously only make it look bad

    :) haha

  • @Apearlfectlytooljamn you know who else is retarded? Your mother but I still did her up the ass bitch

  • i think i just came in my pants after hearing that drum solo

  • i finally found it hahaha i herd this song from the girl shitting in the hot tub haha

  • God how I wish I could drum like Luzier! Half the time I listen to this song just for the drumming.

  • The band didn't last because of the shitty singer they chose. Just some bull shit yelling on Robert Patricks vocals. The Deleo bros should have know better.

  • @goodstuffohyeah I hate using this word, but your retarted

  • @goodstuffohyeah come on dude are you fuckin serious

  • i'm in love with this song^^

  • thys band was rock...mfc

  • i love the little bass riffs by robert, he is an amazing musician

  • THE DRUMS ARE NEXT TO LEGENDARY TO SAy the least...

  • @brokenporcelain me to dude

  • If someone has the bonus songs Good Time To Loosen and Used To Know Her by Army Of Anyone, please upload them. I can´t find them anywhere :(

  • this is sick!!! hell yeah

  • This is such a Dean DeLeo song haha Ray Luzier kicks ass on this song as well. Guess thats y he's in KoRn now. WINS ALL AROUND

  • Man this might be the best song of the 2000's....to bad most people were too busy listening to whatever the media told them was good.

  • @TheFreshness11 the best song of a century?... well, it's good, but not THAT good.

  • @TheFreshness11 I'm digging this band! I actually found it by Google searching under-rated bands my favorite is This Wasn't Supposed To Happen

  • @TheFreshness11 No it isnt.

  • @TheFreshness11 Its ok, but not even in the top 500, sorry.

  • this guys good on the drums but he's no brian st clair of local h.

now he can fuckin hit the drums.

was at a show in orlando and he he busted a hole in part of the kit from hitting it so hard. the kicker is it was during the first song of the set when this happened.

  • i will do things to ray. ;)

  • hahahahahaha

at bout 3:00 that is some really kick ass drummin

    who is that guy?

  • @1eye4revolution the drummer is Ray Luzier

  • Ray Luzier, he plays for Korn now, and is beyond most drummers. Lateral rock drummers that is.

  • @1eye4revolution

Ray Luzier. he kicks ass i met him at the NAMM show. great guy

  • the guy's name is Ray Luzier, from korn!!

  • Scoot has such a long road ahead of him... He is such a fucking drug addict! He's voice is shot... I hope he can get it back together... Richard is obviously amazing... Filter rules...

  • WAS a drug addict get it right its been 7 or 8 years since he used.....and I saw him in concert and he sounded great

  • Scott Weiland IS Stone Temple Pilots, and Richard Patrick IS Filter, they are both equally great in "their own element/band".It is a pointless argument to say one is better than the other, they are both equally Superb in their own unique way,and their music proves it.

  • You may be right about Richard Patrick....but Scott Weiland is NOT STP....

  • That's cool, you're entitled to Your Opinion.Mind you........Scott Weiland Started FORMING STP with Robert DeLeo back in 1986, and was the Singer for their Amazing DEBUT album 'CORE' in 1992 and successful follow up albums 'PURPLE'(1994) & 'SONGS from the Vatican Gift Shop'(1996).Weiland may not be the Same as he once was,but it cannot be denied STP rose to Fame in the 90's because of Weiland's input and singing, and STP are NOW not anywhere near as Good as they used to be in the 90's.

  • @MrSentia the bros are stp bar none. i love scotts vocals but these guys can make music for any soul regardless of the frontman! that my love is a fact.

  • @Heresieskin we'll have to 'agree to disagree' on that love ^_Q

  • I miss Scott.

  • if you guys wanna check out full filter songs and MUSIC VIDEOS, come to my channel

  • wait why did they break up? please someone tell me!

  • richard's back with filter, 'cause it's HIS music... look for some interviews with him on utub ^^

i'm soo excited for the new album by filter :D

  • Because Scott Weiland isnt a wannabe frontman like this guy is. Any chance for STP getting back together they HAD to jump on

  • they broke up, because they just werent connecting at the end. Richie said that nobody was really doing it for the music anymore. they were just doing it to get it done. Richie wants people to embrace music as a way of life. Army of Anyone just wasn't emotionally connecting and Richie just said that he was done. He went back to Filter, cus thats his band and his way of life

  • @jradmania24....... They never intended on getting together in the first place. Richard and the brothers were friends and were collaborating on Filters fourth album together... on a song.. (singular). They made a couple songs together and realized they wanted to do an album together. Richard wrote several of the songs for AOA including Father figure!!! all you fuck heads who think this is some kind of conspiracy ... you don't have a clue!!!! It was a bunch of friends wanting to kick it around..

  • @chicagogreendesign thanks man

  • @chicagogreendesign that explains a lot.... some of the songs that they worked on together ended up in Trouble with angels? because now that I think it, some songs sound pretty rocking and straight forward

  • I'd rather listen to Richard Patrick any day of the week. Weiland went from crooning with a country twang to just sounding lifeless. First couple STP albums he did well on, after that, no thanks. RP keeps getting better, a hell of a lot more power to his vocals.

  • yes. that drummer deserves some praise. i probably wouldn't of like the song as much if they drum part was any different.

  • ok get ur head out of ur fucking ass the singer is great and the drummer is way fucking better than whatever the fuck ur talking about

  • Great song

  • i gatta get this and talk show

  • Cojonudo!!! Peazo de batería!!!!

  • The drums are insane!!!!

  • nevermind

  • for*

  • Dame, why I'm I saying that? I'm pretty sure he found someone there....after all, he likes dark women n dark hair. I'm that but hello! his ass is over in paradise foe 7 months! I dunno people you tell me.

  • damn everytime i listen to this song i think about chico haha. chico, u better get your ass back 4rm brazil! ;)

  • que chico?

  • one of the best singers of the 90s

one of my a fav of all time

  • What the hell!? They cut out half the drum solo!!!

  • the drumming makes this song! ray luzier is amazing!

  • Fuck yeah! I recommend you to listen to one band he had, called 9.0. They released one album as far as I know on Shrapnel in 1990. Perhaps you already know this, but in case you dont, go now and buy/download it!

  • @drummerman06 the drumrolls towards the end are absolutely off the charts.

  • @drummerman06 I totally agree with you. He gives me chills.

  • @drummerman06 not as good with KoRn though

  • oooooo, i like it (Y)

    espec, the drums..

  • he sounds nothing like bono.

  • Ray fuckin Luzier!! <3

He plays them drums perfect, especially in the end!

  • Loved this when it came out... awesome,... 2 amazing groups that merged.. the drum solo gives me goosebumps, song almost gets me teary eyed, makes ya think but things..

  • yeah. this song makes me think of times long gone, that still feel like yesterday.

  • sounds just like STP, i think this song would sound more natural with wieland, but it's still good

  • richard patrick will school weiland any time, the two are in different leagues

  • yeesh. tough words. weiland has just about one of the best voices ive ever heard in rock. patrick is good, not as good as weiland.

  • maybe a while ago but weilands voice is way burnt out too many drugs

  • mentalll drums after like 3:20

  • wow when i first heard this song about a year or 2 ago the drummer gave me the chills, and this is the first time in a LONG time that i heard this song and i still get the same chills. Great freaking song!!!

  • O.O Again!! I have to come on here and take a listen... I keep being astounded at the quality of this song!! Two things...*I WANT TO MARRY THIS SONG, AND GET A TATOO OF DRUMS* er...maybe not about the tatoo. LOL Anyway, this song KICKS ROCKS!!♫♪♫♪♫ \m/ (*.*) \m/ !~!!!!

NOTE: I'm a girl for those guys who think I'm a dude...I'm a dudette. LOL Just know how to kick it!! :P

  • i was at this vid shoot....i spend the whole day with these guys.....completely down to earth....all of them....RP is fucking hilarious.....and Robert gave me his bass...the greatest day of my life....hands down

  • They sound just like Velvet Revolver too. Until the chorus. The chorus is unbelievable.

  • YEA MAN!! That chorus is perfect. Sounds like the song may be switching from a minor key to a Major at the chorus. OUTFRIGGINSTANDING! AND the guitar lead is great as great also. yep it just went by.... its switching from a minor to a Major key. The break in the middle of solo is a dead give away. I will check on my guitar. But I'm (98%) sure already. OK I'm gonna (gotta) listen again............ lol................... Peace.........

  • YEA MAN , the chorus= Switching from a minor key to a Major. Love the sound of that switch, and it should be used more! It's really kind of EZ. Always sounds full of emotion and fabulous! Every member of this band is stellar! The song is great!! Enjoy my friend...........

  • I agree, whatever switch in scales they are doing, it just opens the harmonies of the song right up and the drumming elevates even more.

    Love this song.

  • looks like the singer from velvet revolver

  • It's the singer from the band Filter

  • This song should of been a bigger HIT!! maybe the record co. did not promote it enough. I dont think they did. Too bad!! wonderful, beautiful, honest, great song!

  • I hate how it fades at the end, in the full one you can hear Richard keep screaming and it's powerful. That 'ahhhhhhhh' is like he's upset about the goodbye...

  • WOOOOWW!! this band RULESSSS!!!!!

  • this album and the whole vibe is fantastic and hese guys are extremely talented. great song.

  • Man Ray the drummer kicks ASSSSSS!!!!! @ 3:19
