yea i gotta confess I'm not into it like i use to be , i haven't gotten a raise in 20 years dont have any vacation time or health care, dont get much sleep living in a house with all my cousins and brothers. ill try and give a chit on the next house
"I don't know, Iv given up trying to figure these people out. Its more fun to point out all the little things they've done wrong" You sir have 2 valid issues in my opinion, the framing defect leading to the deflection that in turn is causing that section of fiber cement (James Harde 8 1/4 inch fiber cement siding) to bulge being one. Two its a new house, new window no scratch needed I agree. Other than that you sir are an ignorant asshole. Tract Home < custom home no mold no leaks no worries!
@thatsfresh650 Ahh, so the fact that the holes for the deadbolts werent drilled deep enough for the doors to shut and lock securely is a moot point? As is the fact that the rear sliding glass door frame was bowed inwards to a point where cold air could easily seep in as well as insects? And the fact that the bathroom countertops after all this time, still are not level?
@thatsfresh650 Also, you've got to realise, this is NOT a custom home, this is a cookie-cutter style house. The company that builds these is building a whole subdivision full of them. And yes, it IS quite entertaining to see that even after all this time, the fools that are building them are still doing it wrong.
1. You should have taken this video during the day.
2. These dont really seem like huge issues every new home is going to have some problems. Cant you just have them replace the wood trim and fix the rain gutters? To be fair though, the gaps are excessive and need to be fixed.
Yeah, I should have. Well, im going back monday, we'll see what happens. The builder claims theyre going to have some people there to fix a few things, so we'll see what gets done.. Since its going on about 4 weeks since I initially reported this stuff and most of it hasnt been done yet.. I'd say no, I cant just have them replace some trim and fix things.. Otherwise it'd be done by now.
