  • nice one of the operator,to keep his extra plus during tha crane test, good operator

    nice one matey

  • Thats one long earthquake over there.

  • they have things called tripods nowadays... they keep the camera steady and make it easier to watch.

WTF are all these guys standing underneath the lifted crane for? Will their hard hats protect them if the 265 ton vehicle falls? Meh.

  • @effigymotion lifting capacity is 265t, the crane weights 60t

  • @vxss6slot h silly me. There was me assuming that the title of the video would be accurate. Surely it should be 56tonne crane lifting another 60t crane?

And the point I was making was that whether its 1t, 60t or 265 tonnes, a hard hat is not going to save you if it falls on your head.

  • @effigymotion read carefully....Lifting Capacity is 265t....which means the crane can lift a max. of 265t. so why would u say its a 60t crane??? It also comes with about 80t of counter weigh (or ballast as the yanks call it) so it can lift 265t at 3metres

  • @vxss6slot Thanks very much for your advice. Having now been able to re-read the title of the video, I can confirm that it still says "265ton crane lifting 1 more 265ton". In my books this is telling me the crane weighs 265t. You corrected me the other day and told me it weighs 60t, or as you eloquently put it "lifting capacity is 265t, the crane weights 60t". So the origin of the 60t is YOU.

You are arguing semantics with me and ignorong the point of my message. Workmen taking stupid risk

  • @vxss6slot Whoops. Also, you now add that the crane 'comes with about 80t of counter weigh'. With 80t of counter weighTs, surely that makes the crane's weight 140t ?

The only thing you could correct me on here is the typo where i put 56t crane instead of 60t crane. Anyway. As I have said, i was merely tying to point out how dangerous it was for these guys to walk underneath the crane. Would you have done the same?

  • too much coffee

  • [WARNING NOT FOR EPILEPTICS]

  • shoot the cameraman

  • cameraman has had too many pills

  • But he's so excited by da crane thingy!

  • Is the camerea man an alcoholic who has not had a dink in a few days?

  • keep the camera steady mate.

  • yo dwag we heard you liek cranes, so we put a crane in yo crane so you can lift while you lift

  • @windowspiratato LOL, gotta love the Rediculous ideas by Exibit...... did u see where he put a damn pottry wheel in some hoes car under her seat!?? like WTF

  • who you trying to fool that crane dont weigh 265 ton .

you tube full of thiss kinda junk good video though

  • camera steadiness gettin motion sicknes!...sweet cranes tho

  • rabid chihuahua camera man... This video is impossible to watch.

  • ja pierdole , po co tak trzęsiesz tą kamerą??? na tym youtube to albo się oglądać nie da bo jakieś pierdoły, albo kalkulatorem jest nagrywane a jak ktoś ma kamerę to i parkinson się załącza !!!

  • cant say we've everpicked up another crane lol but have picked up 200 ft man lifts and others from inside buildins and tanks

  • What was the purpose ?!

  • they lifted out of the hole there in the very beginning up and over the wall by the lifting crane and onto the ground

  • The crane had not the weight on 265 ton, it`s wrong !

  • are you thinking it's a 220 tonne? (metric conversion to imperial would make it 265 ton)

  • @2009European he means the capacity

  • @2009European the crane don't weigh 265 ton, that is the lifting capacity of the crane, there posting is correct

  • Looks like Michael J Fox was filming this

  • @dirtydave931 haahahahahhahahaaa

  • Interesting activities but the cameraman should've been shot...

  • This is becuase the camera he is using is old, and does not have the anti-shake tech that you and others just take for granted...and probably don't even realise exists and just think you are an awesome cameraman.

  • my dad was just doing the same thing with his crane yesterday, were building a shop for his buisness and his ladder truck was in side the building for putting up the walls and bolting them together, so we just lifted the truck out with his crane, but yea his camera technique sucks

  • Worst. Camera. Technique. Ever. :(

  • this was very boring...

  • the camera man needs his camera shoved up his ass

  • I agree.

  • yes lol

  • Fantastic

  • wow lifting a crane with a crane wats so exiting

  • cause it weights about 60 tons

  • is this wat workers do during their lunch break?

"hey guys check this out, im gonna try lift another crane with my crane" - show of manpower!

  • they do this to move the crane into or out of an area that the crane can not manuver in or out. usually structures are built around the crane during the time the crane is on site and now can not drive out

  • good

  • what a shite lift!

Wht have the boom up thus rubbing in lifting tackkle...

    the load isant even leval!

  • let me guess: it was a bet, and you had to shove the camera up your ass and then duck-waddle to the scene.

    close?

  • i agree!

  • Comment removed

  • too much movements cant see

  • The crane that is picked up is lighter because all the counterweight has been removed otherwise it would be impossible to do this at that radius.

  • wicked

  • This carne have a weight on ca. 60-70 ton. !!!!!

  • lay off the coffee, camera guy...

  • lol

  • lol...he must of taken that video with his phone

  • ask allmackinnons he seems to know something we don't

  • wouldn't it be easier to drive it around the corner of the building.

  • nop

  • 5 axle machine is heavy around 60 metric tonns, lifting 60 tons with 256 tonner at less than 20m from center to center is childe play. This kind of lift is nothing unusal.

  • This crane didn`t not have a weight on 265 ton. !

  • Hell of an operator. Bragg, Marco & Hill are pretty much the big boys over here. I'll stick to hoes & excavators.

  • i agree

  • shakiest video i have ever watched

  • Thank god Paul Nagle wasnt there!!! Wrecking BALL PAUL!!! Bragg Crane is waaaayyy BETTTER!!!

  • Neither of those cranes are 265ton capacity. They are Liebherr Ltm1160's, 160 ton capacity.

  • the crane's maximum lifting weight is 265 tons, not the weight of the crane.the crane at most weigh 60 tons.weight of crane not equals to lifting capacity

  • "parkisons" "grandma can do better" LMFAO...!Priceless...!

  • I think the 265 ton designation is the capacity of the crane(s), not their weight. And Karp001 - they might have put the crane in that hole so it would be close enough to the building to cover the required operating range. It might have been necessary because they couldn't grade to make a path for the crane to drive there. Just a guess, you understand. . . . :-)

  • a wud have never guessed that was a 250 ton vehicle like.

my guess would be like 40

  • It's the lifting capacity donut! Does the frickin' camerman have parkinsons?

  • first time taking camera?? haha, my grandma can do better

  • people with parkinsons shouldnt be allowed cameras

  • i think u need to be checked for shaking disease he he

  • Trying to figure out why the crane was down in the hole in the first place?

  • Sorry but the area of the structure means nothing. The weight of the crane being lifted and the radius from the lifing crane nad lifting tackle to the center of gravity of the crane being lifted is to be considered versus the the lifting cranes loadchart. The area (sideways area) would only be considered with wind but that would be in an engineered lift in light winds and no calculations are needed as >80% is not a critical lift.

  • Title should be 265 ton crane lifing 265 ton crane @ 70 ton because the crane being picked up has it's counter weight removed. it would be imopossible if the crane being picked up was 265 ton at that radius. Area would be considered in where they would place the object so that it would not contact anything else.

  • There are diffrent rules for a critical lift and it depends on the company or site where you are doing the work and usually less than 80 percent is not critical but this could be a critical lift because it is not ordinary. Next if you have a lift in the air and it is a critical lift or engineered lift then win speed would be accounted for and there would be a max wind speed. Tackel is rigging accessories and is used primarly in europe and the middle east.

  • the word tackle is used primarly in these areas for rigging accessories. Finally I do not know why it is being picked up maybe because it failed and need to be moved.
