  • Yeah, just dont expect Pettitte to be as good as he was the last time he was in pin stripes. And after its all said and done, I think everyone will agree that Randy Johnson achieved more and had a better career than Pettitte on whole, even with his Yankee fiasco.

  • Nobody denies Randy's past greatness. At this point however, Andy Pettitte is a much better fit for us than Randy Johnson. It's not even a contest.

  • Andy Pettitte? Isn't he past his prime... just having old players on their team isn't going to win the Yankees a World Series.

  • First answer, no. Second answer, Andy Pettitte-34 Randy Johnson-43. Andy Pettitte has already proven that he can win in New York as opposed to Randy Johnson who put up Jay Witasick numbers on a consistent basis. I think you need to take a better look at who's past their prime.

  • @MadcapVagrant obviously, you struck out on this one.

  • Maybe now that Randy's back in Arizona, his ERA will go back down since he doesn't have to pitch to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays anymore! Thank God we dumped him and got Andy Pettitte back!!

  • randy rules!

  • Rannnnddddyyyy!!!
