I am in love with the 90 min IPA....many people say it's the best IPA in America....had the Rasin one.....it was ok.....I'd drink it again....but not on a regular basis
yeah that's probably the raison d'etre... how'd ya like it? the extra was a bit intense, very boozy... lotta sugars from the dry fruits, but it grew on me after finishing half of it. I wouldn't spend another 9 bucks though, but an experience nonetheless
Raison d'etre, or "reason for being" in French. Pronounced ray-zonn det-ruh. From Wikipedia: "The claimed reason for the existence of something or someone" - they're saying this beer is pretty significant, to say the least.
Hey.....somebody please save me some?????? A World Wide Stout for me please.....please....Somebody :( I am really cravin!!!! Dammit...nobody is listening.......
Today, I'll be finishing my first six pack of the Indian Brown Ale. What has been bothering me about this beer from the very first time I put my nose to the glass and then moments later when I raised the glass to my lips and took my first sip is that, to me, it smells and tastes like a failed attempt at making a stout. I've had some less than pleasing stouts before, and the Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale tasted very similar to them. It will be awhile before i try it again.
Indian Brown is better than Raison.

What a ridiculous brewery; my vote for the most creative brewers. Got a World Wide Stout just waiting for that first big snow storm of winter.

Dogfish Head IPAs are incredible. The 90-minute is great...the 120-minute is incredible!

nice video I'm a fan of dogfish head but it's hard to find any of their stuff up here in Montreal.
By the way 'd'etre' has a silent E at the end (but you still pronounce the R, it's a French thing).

I'm not a big fan of Brown Ales, but did love the Brown Ale from Oregon Trail brewing. Very, VERY good!!

Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale is a mix of a Scotch Ale with an IPA? I thought it was an American style Brown Ale?
