@BupeXtreme: Before Jesus came to this world, to atone for one's sins in the Jewish tradition, a sacrifice would have to be made (usually by offering an animal sacrifice). The problem with that is it's never good enough, plus we'll always sin by nature.

When Jesus died on the cross, he became the "perfect sacrifice". No longer do we have to earn our way to salvation by countless futile sacrifices. By grace through faith in Christ, we'll have eternal life.

@BupeXtreme in a way, yes. But he was prophesied to be either the lord of glory or the lord of suffering depending on how the people of that time treated him. And because people persecuted him, he had to take the road as the lord of suffering and thus he was not able to completely fulfill his mission on earth. I can't just tell you to just believe, but just learn the fundamentals of the bible and soon you will be able to LOVE Jesus and God like how we were all supposed to :D

Jesus was the sacrificial lamb, an antonement for our sins so we could go to heaven and we could live the life Jesus lead.(or at least try our hardest because Jesus never sinned and we all have sinned so thats why God sent Jesus) answer back if you have more questions please

We could sacrifice 1000 veils and still go back to our old ways of offending Him. Hey there, the sacrfice of Christ on the cross was not a " human sacrfice ", Christ was God incarnate, or God in the form of human flesh. Christ took on the form of humanity to teach about God's love and His plan for us and to give us the forgiveness through the sacrfice of Christ. Yes He was human, yet God at the same time.
