be careful. if you have pain in your hips you might have hip impingement. and stretching can make it a lot worse. my bone is rubbing up against my hip socket and years of stretching really messed up my hips because my instructors were clueless about anatomy and just told me to keep stretching.

@Cokewilliam well heres something you could think about what more important stretching a bit every day or serious stretching every now and then myself i think the 2nd is more important because its what i do and my flexibility is improving ever so slightly

that is why a lot of blackbelt now a days looks silly when they kick because they neglect the importance of flexibility. if your flexible your legs feel like paper weight.
The bigger the angle between the two points is the larger your range motion is... Why doesn't he just say: the more flexible you get the higher you can kick.
