  • be careful. if you have pain in your hips you might have hip impingement. and stretching can make it a lot worse. my bone is rubbing up against my hip socket and years of stretching really messed up my hips because my instructors were clueless about anatomy and just told me to keep stretching.

  • I can kick decently high, but I have no flexibility. This video showed me some useful drills to make me more flexible (some of them look kinda hard though).

  • what if i can keep the leg up on my maximun heigh, i mean, im about 20 cms of the floor but when i kick my kicking function is limited, for example, i can just keep my leg on the heigth of my hips no more taller, what i can do ??

  • @Cokewilliam yes, if you don't stretch daily or every other day, your flexibility will start to decline

  • @turtlepress o yes i havent stretched or practiced my kicks in a while and now my kicks dont have the same height speed or power they use to

  • @Cokewilliam well heres something you could think about what more important stretching a bit every day or serious stretching every now and then myself i think the 2nd is more important because its what i do and my flexibility is improving ever so slightly

  • @Cokewilliam The worst thing you can do is nothing (from personal experience), it degrades all you've worked for and possibly even more. Its the similar for toned/built muscle also. But its different if you eat right and exercise (even if its just walking). You just have to put time and effort for results.

  • I'm a righty but I can only throw left highkick, If I try with my right leg, I lose my balance and look like amateur with no kicking ability, how can I fix this problem?
