This is so cool! I have Devil May Cry3, but when i plug my 2nd controller in, it doesn't work. Is there something I have to unlock, or some mode I have to play on to get a second player in? Because just plugging in a controller and pressing start does not work.... Someone help please. Thanks!!! =3

@AmyTaliaRose Been awhile since i played this but as long as you have doppelganger style equipped it should work. Just press start on controller 2 after you activate it.

Oh i found out that this also works out in Mission 19!

the second player can also take control of Vergil

but the controls are limited as to the same as Dante

this is a cool glitch, the only thing is that the camera is stuck on Player 1

and Player2 is stuck with the weapons when u make the doppleganger, lol

either way, it's a fucking awesome way to bust some heads around :]

Press start while the doopelganger is active on player 2s controller and it should work. To get infinite devil trigger you need to select a costume with purple aura around it in the picture.

You can do it yes but's it's hardd to see for the second player just use the doppler than select , than the other player should be able to move

Its not really that hard for player 2, its just hard when you fight in small areas or indoors like the first mission for example

You can get another costume with aura which is the one im using in this video. If you pause at the begininning you can see which one I mean (Purple coat and monical) Not sure how i unlocked it havent played in ages.

Your version and the vid's is DMC Special eddition. Dante with aura don't work on this eddition, only that costume

Actually it works, it gives you unlimited DT, but only on using DT, Super Sparda (or Super Corrupted Vergil) dont loose their DT gauge while using other actions that need it (like Doppelganger style for Dante)

Dude, you should also try it with Vergil on the mission 19, where Vergil and Dante team up.

there r two ways

i only know the cheep way and that is to unlock all the hidden stuff from the menu screen by clicking the r1 r2 l1

l2 and rotrating the anolog sticks

Me, when i posted that long time ago...I was stuck on the final boss in Hard mode...Now im stuck on the final boss again in Dante Must Die mode...I beat the final boss in hard with Quicksilver.

you get it after beatin' geryon (horse demon). it's a style so you can only use basis attacks.

playin solo will make dope attack with the same pattern that dante do (if dante's attack is blocked, so does the dope's..-_-!!).

Actually, beating the horse gives you the quicksilver style. Beating the doppelganger gives you the style you're looking for.

You only heal when your just using regular devil trigger but when your using doppleganger or quicksilver your not using your devil trigger to heal anymore but for a different skill.

you need to beat a certain boss but once you do u can use any costume, its just better if you use the one in the video because it has unlimited devil power.

hey how did u get the sparda costume and not lose any devil trigger energy? cuz when i do the cheat to unlock everythin and i beat the entire game. u have to choose the guy in the fancy clothes but if u choose him ur devil trigger fades away. and if u choose the one when hes in the purple aura he doesnt wear the sparda costume. please help me out :/

Its definetely the costume with the fancy costume and purple aura surrounding him that has unlimited devil power. Thats the one i used anyway.
