  • That's a great beard you got there Santa. Lol

  • HAHAHA I love that he is on an oddly train. Thats too Novel for the world to handle.

  • Splendid . But the tune /song is called Angeline THE Baker. I'm English too!. God bless our American friends, Happy Christmas.

  • @banjodag In a lot of music jams people call it Angelina Baker and Angeline the Baker interchangebly just like little beggar man is redhaired boy and rubber dolly is back up and push (with a key change)

  • God bless America.

  • Is that supposed to be an actual song or just some mish-mash?...oh, and take a bath!

  • @Gothicday1

Someone with the word gothic in their name really should know to be less judgmental ;-)

  • YE HAW!!!

  • All man, All Beard, All music.

  • Hi Santa n_n :D!!

  • I hope he got a free ride .

  • What's the name of that tune that he's playing?

  • excellent!!! wish I was there at the time

  • fine clawhammer style

  • i love the sound of the bell at the crossing with the banjo, its perfect

  • beautiful song

  • Santa palys banjo too

  • Totally cool!

  • massive amounts of beard epicness

  • I kind of think the people walking around make it cool, feel more spontaneous

  • this will b a masterpiece if ya relly work on it-Tater Tot 5-String Clawhammer&3finger player

  • So...much.....beard.... It's awesome!

  • how can you hear a banjo with a train rumbling in the back ground

some one is out of tune

  • @banjoman Hell, who cares if hes a bit out of tune. I think it makes the song a bit better and the fact that he's on a train makes this video even greater.

  • Hey, Who's driving the train?

  • That bell kept pretty good time but next time you need to call Fillmore & Western and ask them if they can't tune it up a little better. LOL

  • pay atention people, the old timers that do this kinda stuff wont be around forever

  • how many strings are on this banjo?

  • @DjJiriski It's a 5-string banjo.

  • wow, great stuff, really good with a SAtella

  • Wow, love this stuff, nothing like this around London, wish there was. So good listening with a stella

  • YE HAW BOYS BREAK OUT THE WHITE LIGHTIN!.

  • you are the one of the few banjo nomads play on you banjo soul

  • Someone should keep the people from passing,....it's RUDE while filming,...surely they can wait a few minutes. People can be so inconsiderate and just not in the moment of thought.

  • That was not their fault - the point of the trip was to enjoy the ride and walk back and forth in the different train cars. Nobody knew there would be a banjo player, and I only started filming him on a whim.

  • burn

  • @ddimuro Well, I think you did a good job! But, how long can a song be, I agree with "urgdaddy", people need to slow down and enjoy the moment. Thanks for the post, I enjoyed it.

  • @urgdaddy yeah real rude -.-'' maybe that guy is gonna play for 10mins or more you don't always want to wait for that even though it sounds good. so stop your whining. If its a picture taken ok but a movie no

  • @urgdaddy You can't be serious? The passers by had no effect on the filming or the player. If some one busks on a walk way would you expect people to stop walking on it? He might of played that banjo for 30 minutes, how long should every one of coward for?

What a strange point of view.

Lovely film by the way. I was thinking how nice it was that it was set in such a natural setting and the people just added to the charm.

    Thanks

  • @urgdaddy hey there urgdaddy, Iv'e played in small bars where I've been in front of the restroom door and had to lift the next of my gitar like a toll both gate to let them pass while playin. I also film bands and I admit it is annoying when people block a shot but life is not slick, not an mtv video, people walking past or in front of cameras is all part of and for me is more genuine. Everyone doing their own thing. Things are just as they are.

  • @urgdaddy What gets me is that they're not even stoppin' to appreciate not just the beautiful music, but the authenticity of the moment.

  • luv the Banjo and train ride.***** stars

  • wow santa can play a mean banjo

  • he is awesome

  • Great!!!

  • life Im gonna live in WV where the railroads are old as dirt and still runnin baby! I want a beard like that too. HELL YEAH!! I wonder if there where people looking at him from their car at 1:25 when they passed that crossing.. haha
