You hate Political Correctness not because it's ethically / morally wrong but because it forces you to countenance the shame that such beliefs & behavior ought to bring.
And while I do acknowledge that some who try to enforce PC may at times go overboard, I - for one - do not lament it. Offensive stereotypes DO have an effect on peoples' lives and they need to be confronted.

Politically correct multiculturalist lefties like you are the reason Europe is dying quickly. They are being invaded by fascist Islamic supremacist Muslims, and hardly anyone is speaking out against it for fear of being branded a "racist" and a "bigot." Meanwhile, major European cities like Paris have "no go" areas where Muslim gangs are in charge and radical imams are the judge, jury, and executioners.

Read "America Alone" by Mark Steyn. Maybe some exposure to real knowledge and truth will open your eyes and eject you from fantasy land. You know, that land where conservatives and Christians in the bible belt are the world's most dangerous villains, while the Muslim minorities, who have a religious obligation to kill and subjugate any non-Muslim, are always the victims of an oppressive "racist" society (even though being Muslim is not related to race.)

Nevertheless this fixation on Islam is reminiscent of the "New Atheists' who attack & insult Christians; by attacking all as enemies you alienate those who might otherwise listen and in turn only alienate yourself. Radical Islam IS dangerous but not all Muslims are Islamists. Big difference.

There are moderate Muslims, but no moderate Islam. Muhammad was quite clear that Muslims must fight against non-Muslims until they 1) convert 2) agree to live as second class "dhimmis" or 3) declare war on the Muslims. Islam is radicalizing across the globe, fueled by Saudi oil money, and those who were once moderates are getting closer to the Islam that was practiced during Muhammad's time. Muhammad beheaded between 600 and 900 unarmed people and married a 6 year old girl.

@Wortcraft Yes, yes... I've heard it all before. I will grant that much of the Islamic world is stuck in a medieval mindset. However to pin it all on Mohammad and the Koran is a narrow-sighted view of a much more complex picture. There is plenty of geopolitical history that is just as relevant, not the least of which is European colonialism. Moreover, you cannot single-out Islam without also looking at Christianity's own ugliness and historical penchant for violent proselytizing.

Yes, I can single out Islam, since it is the only major religion that condones the murder and subjugation of nonbelievers. Only a PC multiculturalist would turn an argument away from Islam, giving it a pass for its barbarism, by making Christianity the real villain. You do this for two reasons 1) Islam is primarily practiced by minorities, and 2) Christianity is widely practiced by white conservatives, and we all know how they are the biggest villains to you lefties.

And when I single out Islam, I'm not saying crimes weren't committed in the name of Christianity. However, those crimes were not justified by biblical scriptures. Nowhere in the New Testament could you find commandments from Jesus to kill and conquer all others through violence, while in the Qur'an, you can see Muhammad himself committing murder and rape, and telling his followers to do likewise. That's the difference.
And no, I'm not Christian, but Christianity is much tamer

Also, by condemning over a billion Muslims because of the faith they were born into - which no one has control over - you're only perpetuating a vicious cycle. You alienate the moderates who can, if recruited, reform Islam (no easy feat, admittedly). Instead by casting them all into the same lot you only harden and give credence to those that say Westerners have it out for Muslims and the Islamic World.
(for the sake of clarity, when I say 'you' I mean people in general who feel as you do.)
