  • A Doctor Who YouTube video just wouldn't be the same without ferocious name-calling in the comments. Ahhh... I love the smell of trolls in the morning.

  • The Doctor's packing heat!

  • Theres one thing you never ever put in a trap ... GRAHAM NORTON!

  • @yellowfireyoshi I haven't seen the Old Doctor Who, but don't criticize David Tennant, brilliant character, story, and most of all, Russel T. Davies did a lot of great writing, is Sci-Fi the show being truly Sci-Fi really that important? if so, just go watch old reruns of Doctor Who and stop criticizing an awesome show.

  • @junpeil33t You're talking to the person who uploaded the video. You can't tell me not to criticize Tennant because criticism is an important aspect for all digital media. I don't like Davies because his concepts of sci-fi suck. Did you read my post, he is a dramatic writer, meaning the episodes would have been stronger if he wrote them as a drama.

Tennant did kill the character because he is the fan favorite. That leaves little for the doctor's character development.

  • There are certain things the Doctard should shut in cases like these, and that's his trap.

  • @LegoDaleks Going out and expressing your hatred on videos that you dislike do little to heighten your opinion. You can make logical arguments against the newer doctor who, or you can just go out and call other peoples' opinions shit. Don't bother with this crusade, as you already make yourself look like a dipshit.

  • @yellowfireyoshi Freedom of speech. I'm allowed to criticise this piece of garbage because it has no redeeming qualities. I don't criticise it enough actually.

Being protective over this trash only makes you look like a "dipshit".

My comment didn't make me look like a "dipshit", it was quite inventive actually, you just haven't a sense of humour.

  • @LegoDaleks It was a mistake on my part, as it was meant to be directed at this comment.

But I fail to see any criticism being made here because you aren't posting your criticism. As far as it goes, your point hasn't left the realm of subjectivity.

  • @yellowfireyoshi Okay 1 example of 1 aspect of Nu-hu that deserves criticism that isn't just an opinion but fact: Nu-hu has dumbed-down dialogue in that the Doctard uses teenage dialogue like: "stop mucking about" & "don't diss the sonic". He also repeats nonsensical catchphrases. He also quotes kids TV shows instead of literature like the Dr of the original series used to do. Just compare quotes that you can easily find on the internet of DW & Nu-hu, then it is clear how dumbed down Nu-hu is.

  • @LegoDaleks Well said LegoDaleks.

I understand the show has to be quicker and episodes shorter but there does seem to be a condescending attitude that viewers can't absorb intelligent plot lines or ideas.

Whole of TV is geared (just like society) towards a youth movement like they're the ONLY age group. This is insulting to ALL people.

The Britishness has been played down as well.

The old who had smaller budgets but the writers were far more focused and clever.

    Ironic that.

  • @LegoDaleks Now those are valid points of which I wont bother to refute. The show definitely isn't like the older doctor who, but part of the reason may have been the target audience. I personally hated Russel Davies, as he was a Drama Writer, not a sci-fi writer. He had a few good episodes and ideas, but not enough. He revived the series, but as a sub-par drama sci-fi show.

  • Moffat still has potential and I can see him making the series transition back into the realm of sci-fi. Smith plays a more alien doctor and is far more whimsical than any of the newer ones, which I personally like, but his episodes haven't been strong. It seems to me that there is still hope for Moffat to pave the way for a new director and doctor to bring life back into the show. But Tennant was the main one to kill the show.

  • @LegoDaleks Freedom of speech works both ways, and it means we have the freedom to tell you you're a shithead.

Just because you can express an opinion doesn't mean anyone has to like it or care.

  • @KriimIanga I never asked you to like it or care, you ignoramus.

  • When the doctor grabs a gun, you know shit's going down

  • Only one other man has ever said that line and made it sound just as badass: His name is Lewis Lovhaug, but we know him as Linkara.

  • ...Admiral Ackbar?

  • This is possibly one of the most badass lines I've ever heard in media, right between ,

"Fuck off lucky charms" To the leperchaun in the leperchaun movies,

    and

"you have a time machine, What the hell, let's kill Hitler."

  • @tsurugikage So, your entire knowledge of media is some dumb movie & some of the worst sh!t the BBC has ever called Doctor Who, namely series 5 & 6 of Nu-hu.

  • Where was the Graham Norton advertisment? ;P

  • This is how Eleven works: "I'm the Doctor. Come at me, bro."

  • There's one thing you never put in any sort of image, if you're smart, if you value your continued century, if you have any plans on seeing tomorrow there's one thing you never, ever, put in any sort of image... A Weeping Angel.

    You fool.

  • It's also proof that you don't tangle with people that the Doctor cares about. If you do, you're asking for it.

  • EPIC!

  • IT'S A TRAP!!

  • thank you :)

  • what is the music called?

  • @6junky It sounds like an altered version of "I am the Doctor," which serves as Matt's main theme throughout the series.

  • he has killed many beings remember. the doctors not completely innocent and he even committed genocide against his own people. He is very dangerous and not to be messed with

  • brb, putting him in a trap

  • @andreasfr1 <-- and he was never heard from again...

  • HOW DID YOU REMOVE THE MUSIC FROM THE PART WERE THE GLOBE SMASHES??!!

  • The excitement you get when you've reached top comment!

  • Normally I'd say "What the heck, isn't the doctor supposed to be peaceful! And he never carries a gun!" But, A. There's no negotiating a peaceful arrangeme\nt with an Angel, it's pretty much kill (freeze) or be killed. B. He wasn't actually shooting to harm anyone. And C. These things have just killed a bunch of clerics and two of the people he cares about are in danger.

So under these cirumstances I thing this little b n' b (badass in a bowtie) momernt was pretty awesome.

  • That the 2nd time the 11th Doctor has warn the aliens.

  • I love Amy's look, when she glances at the Doctor it's all like, "Oh, crap. Shiz's about to go down."

  • What episode?

  • @salag13 The Time of Angels, Season 5, Episode 4. Pretty good episode, actually. "Hello, sweetie!" Love that bit.

  • why why why!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Didn't anyone on Youtube ever tell you, theres one thing you never dislike, if your smart, if you value your contiued Youtube account, if you have any plans on trolling tommorow there's one thing you never ever dislike... this comment.

  • @TheAfroThunder1 I like it

  • @zentag770 Good, because if you didn't, basically... run...

  • One thing you never, ever ask the Doctor under any circumstances... "What don't you put in a trap?"

  • @TheAfroThunder1 Matt so badase.

  • @CPTTAYLOR592 Damm right!

  • I think of this speech everytime I sit through an exam.

  • @TheAfroThunder1 Lol so do i xD

  • @snake1million LOL's :)

  • There's one thing you never put in a Youtube video, if your smart. If you value your continued Youtube account, if you plan on commenting on another Youtube video tomorow, theres one thing you never, ever, put in a Youtube video... Me

  • @TheAfroThunder1 I'm using this comment on a video :3

  • @1v1atrix I hope not. I copyrighted it. :)

  • @Nerinaization Didn't anyone on YouTube ever tell you, there's one thing you never point out on a YouTube comment, if you know your spelling, If you value your continued comment like/dislike status, if you have any plans on starting YouTube comment wars tomorrow there's one thing you never, ever point out... Grammar mistakes.

  • @Nerinaization It better be... Gotta problem with that?

  • @Nerinaization In that case... allons-y! (Cue dramatic sparks)

  • did he say " me "?

  • Also remember the space whale? He was going to kill it to save Space UK

  • To everyone commenting negatively about this scene:

Other doctors have used guns, such as the 4th, 6th, and 10th. The 7th Doctor once put his companion Ace's life in somewhat of a danger to accomplish his plan. The doctor has killed people, both directly and indirectly, and not just during the Time War, often when they leave him no choice.

Everything the doctor does here is in character with the Doctor and has been done in prior incarnations. Besides, he was not pointing the gun at anyone.

  • 10th Doctor, all day, every day! 11 is pretty good but he's no Tenant.

  • I think this may be the angriest doctor yet.... its odd

  • @StBurkeINC Really? 10th was the most angriest/mercyless in my opinon. I loved 10th anyway, he's my favorate Doctor.

  • Yeah... as much as the Doctor holding a gun is badass, a Doctor with no plan is much more badass.

  • @WalterLiddy There are other bits similar to this that 9, 10, and 11 have where they have to put the lives of his friends and humanity above the lives of those who threaten them. The finale of this season actually expresses this theme well, as the Doctor is dangerous and many races think he should be locked up.

Have you ever considered what those on his opposing end actually think of him?

  • @yellowfireyoshi I agree it's moments like this that give him the "The oncoming storm" title. He can be murderous and he actually had to kill his whole race and the Dalek race, or so he thought. But the 9th Doctor was very violent towards a Dalek when he first ran into one after the time war and the 10th Doctor is willing to kill when the timelords return. 11 basically wanted to let the angles know that he's not one to be messed with. But I have to ask, what's all that liquid from the orb?

  • @Samuel24842 i believe sine its a gravity globe it must be the plasma that creates the light and contains the anti matter or probably an electric field of some sort with the traits of dark matter to defy gravity.

  • @masterdobyoby thanks, it really bothered me at the end of the episode because i had no idea what he shot lol

  • @yellowfireyoshi and the fact that going through time and space makes you a little...insane

  • @yellowfireyoshi Also, a very good example of exactly this stance in action is the ending to the Family of Blood two parter.

  • @WalterLiddy nah, you dont get it. The Doctor is like a chihuahua so to speak. He's cute and nice and kind.. but if you trap him in a cornor or make him feel endangered he will lash out and brutually to. We have also seen what he can do if his live, and those of his friends are in danger. Casandra, the Daleks and the Timelords, the Slitheen, the Jagrafess.. and those are only mentions of series 1. He didnt earn "the upcoming storm" for nothing you know...

  • @WalterLiddy watch?v=arAjbSkKF-Q&feature=related

See that little scene there with all The Doctors? See how he implied that all of the Doctors have killed to protect those they care for? It wasn't just the 11th. If you push The Doctor too far, this happens. remember, no second chances.

  • @WalterLiddy well this was against the weeping angels whom are so evil they could kill you if you blink, and as yellowfireyoshi said alot of different enemies hate The doctor for standing in there way. still it was great line and fun to see that smile of his.

  • @WalterLiddy You have to remember that this is the same doctor that's been through the Time War. He's changed much since the old times and he has to live with the fact he pretty much nuked his entire race along with, what he though, the entire Dalek race. Try telling me that wouldn't change your mindset slightly. He's always had this side to him, we just don't see it often unless he's put in a position that forces it to come out.

  • @WalterLiddy it's not exactly out of character for the doctor, he has fair amount of darkness even before the series was rebooted the easy example of this is his seventh version the dark hearted clown, The doctor used the hand of omega to wipe out the darleks home planet, also the angels tryed to make him angery in this scene and as a result they threatend a man who's nick names inclued "the bringer of darkness" "the omega of planets" "the destroyer of worlds."

  • @WalterLiddy oh go and bitch to your mother you pathetic heap of bile.

  • @WalterLiddy He not killing anyone with it. he using it to help him to get away for the weeping angels.

  • @WalterLiddy I don't think it's out of character at all. It's threatening, but it's not like he's aiming the gun at one of them, he's shooting a lightbulb while his voice keeps them afraid. Even if he was, it's not like he didn't do that to the Time Lords back in his tenth reincarnation (with good development towards it too).

  • @WalterLiddy Kinda comes off as an action movie thing, but think about it - they talk about how death and destruction follow in the Doctor's wake every single chance they get, even if it's not directly caused by him. Really he's right. Stuff explodes around the Doctor. You trap him in your base, your base explodes.

  • @WalterLiddy Well consider what his enemy thinks of him. We think of him as a goofy hobo in a time-traveling police box, but to his enemies such as the Daleks, Cybermen and Sontarans as such he is a dangerous Demigod that will destroy you(in the case of the Daleks he did that ALOT), also he only kills when things get REALLY desperate such as in End Of Time or, as in this episode, being chase by a thousand energy-sucking demonic statue-angels

  • @WalterLiddy You are taking the clip out of context. yes he is threatening the angles but he is shooting at a gravity globe. He isn't murderous just desperate and in need of a plan. he used a gun as a tool not as weapon.

  • @WalterLiddy It's The MUSIC That People Love!

  • @WalterLiddy And you completely miss the point.

  • @WalterLiddy this makes sense if you watch a good man goes to war. As river song said, in the future the word "doctor" means great warrior. This is the doctor that is responsible for putting the fear of *** into everyone in the universe.

  • @WalterLiddy The doctor has personally caused the death of at least billions of creatures, including his own race. The show regularly brings up the rage of the last time lord and the destruction he brings. This is absolutely in character.

  • @WalterLiddy

Honestly, I think that centuries of trying to save the universe, albeit at the cost destroying your planet, species, and family, would just cause even the most ardent pacifist to become somewhat dark.

  • @WalterLiddy All the other timelords would like to have a talk with you...

  • @WalterLiddy There is a reason why his enemies fear The Oncoming Storm.

  • @WalterLiddy

"Since when was he so murderous?"

Oh, I don't know... maybe since the moment HE KILLED ALL OTHER TIMELORDS.

  • @WalterLiddy i wouldnt say he was murderous .... but he is much darker but then as time has gone on the others have aswell the 10th had quite a few moments and the 9th aswell ... but when you think about who was there with him that was also in danger of death you can see why he threatened them ... because he loved amy like a sister and had those lovey dovey feelings for river and he couldnt risk the others life.:D although you can see it how you want. x

  • The guy just looks at him like "Yeah, He's on our side." ^_^

  • Although im not a big fan of Matt Smith, I have to admit this was an epic moment.

  • There's one thing you never put in a trap if you're smart, if you value your continued existence, if you have any plans about seeing tomorrow there's one thing you never ever put in a trap.....Tonga Fifita aka Haku/Meng

  • doctor:me

    me:nuff daid

    rarity:nuff said indeed!!

  • no wonder he got out of the pandorica...

  • -Nerdgasm-

  • :doctorlaugh:

  • There's one thing you never put in a trap if you're smart, if you value your continued existence, if you have any plans about seeing tomorrow there's one thing you never ever put in a trap.....Me.

Doctor Who is owned by BBC. It is not owned by me.

  • He's a really good shot for a man who hasn't fired a gun since the Time War (with one exception) with that handgun he's never held before, isn't he?

  • @Exccentrous1 if you notice, he's really good at a lot of things he hasn't done b4, + he aims that screwdriver around a lot too so that prob goes a long way.

  • For those who whine about 11 using a gun, please remember that pretty much everyone from 2 to 6 have used several different kinds of firearms, cumulating in 4 casually snapping a dude's neck and walking off.

  • There's one thing you never put in a trap... WAIT FOR IT... ME!

  • Did anyone else want him to say, "Me, motherfucker!"

  • When the Doctor tolerates people using guns, you know shit is going down.

When the Doctor actually picks one up, basically, run.

  • Oh, Doctor, what ever happened to 'guns are very much NOT cool'?

  • @Kittenstuffandthings He grabs it at the end of the episode to shot a gravity orb(using it as a tool). Unlike 10, who tries to kill someone with it.

  • @yellowfireyoshi Ten had an extreme aversion to taking a gun at all, indicating that he disapproves of so much as holding it, and he never shot anyone. Ten used his gun as a tool, as well.

  • @yellowfireyoshi To be fair, it was Rassilon and the Master, who are both evil psychos, and of the same race as him. The Doctor would never willingly shoot at a human.

  • @yellowfireyoshi its the same doctor >.<!

  • @yellowfireyoshi just different faces

  • @yellowfireyoshi 10 never tried to kill anyone with the gun he got. He used it as a"tool" to destroy the white point star. Sure he points it at the master but the master was in the way.

  • @evilbassexe But he contemplated killing the master.

It gets difficult to communicate with people when they lash out on 11 for this specific scene. Sure, I am wrong, but the end of time is the best example of the doctor seriously using a gun. The emotional intensity was greater in the end of time than the weeping angels.

  • @yellowfireyoshi Doctor would only use a gun as a tool to save lives, never to hurt anything...'nuff said.

  • @yellowfireyoshi He contemplated killing The Master because he wantined to stay like he was so much he put aside his "No killing policey" to try, but he realised when he saw The Women that it wasent worth it. We all get like that sometimes. I'm not slashing out at 11th, and if your not slashing out at the 10th then sorry, but if what I think your saying is the 10th Doctor bad, then screw you. If your not, sorry.

  • @TheAfroThunder1 10 is a fine doctor. I have a few issues with the director Russel Davies, as he has strength in drama but not in sci-fi.

  • @yellowfireyoshi I... Disagree.... Thats it.

  • @yellowfireyoshi 10 uses it as a tool too. He shot the white point star, ot wanting to kill anyone.

  • @yellowfireyoshi 10 never tried to shoot anyone. He was very tempted to in "The Doctor's Daughter" but didn't because he's not that type of man. He threatened both the Master and Rassilon in "The End of Time" because he thought it might be the only way to stop the Time Lords, but found another way out.

  • @JustGuess500 And he didn't try to shoot anyone here, either.

  • @Kittenstuffandthings It's just an object. Doesn't mean what you think

  • @Kittenstuffandthings I guess Shooting people is not cool more so then Guns being not cool.

  • @Kittenstuffandthings The Doctor doesn't like guns because they are designed to kill. In this case, the Doctor was using the gun as a tool to save him and the others.

  • 7 people put the Doctor in a trap! He did warn them!

  • Matt is one badass doctor!!!!

  • I love how they look at him, they're probably thinking 'yeah, he's that awesome'.......

  • ... what if he missed?

  • @tharealelite1 Then he fucked. lol

  • @tharealelite1 he wouldn't. he's the doctor. the oncoming storm.

  • IT'S A TR--

oh wait its just the doctor

    RUN!!!

  • level 1,000 in badassery.

  • Live or die...make your choice ( SAW Doctor Who special hahahaha)

  • @rasnac Are you kidding? Smith and Moffat brought back humour to the show. With Davies and Tennant, it was all angst, all the time.

  • @ChocolateOrangeDee What show were you watching 06-09? Because I know it wasn't Doctor Who.

  • @ChocolateOrangeDee yeah i agree but as a doctor who fan some of the eps are not good. let season 7 is better but season 6 and 5 was good to.

  • Smith tries too hard to be funny, interesting, charismatic and weird, but he only accompğlishes to be boring every time, unfortunetely. It's not easy to play The Doctor and not every actor can nail it, even if they are talented. Moffat made a huge mistake taking over the show. He is brilliant as a Dr.Who writer but not as the showrunner, evidently. :(

  • @rasnac Have you ever seen Matt not acting? He's pretty much like the 11th Doctor. So you can't say he's trying to be anything if he's himself.

  • Nobody puts Baby in a corner, and nobody puts the Doctor in a trap.

  • MATT SMITH IS SO AWESOME !!! I CAN WATCH HIM ALL DAY. HE HAS SO MUCH ENERGY AND TALENT. I AM SO GLAD THAT HE IS NOT LEAVING DR. WHO ANYTIME SOON. CANT WAIT FOR CHRISTMAS, THAT WHEN THE SHOW COMES BACK FOR A SPECIAL OR SOMETHING.

  • @MultiJman69 I'm looking forward to Christmas too.

  • This scene is much more epic without Norton dancing all over it.

  • NOW I M SCARED.DON T YOU DARE DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS.RESPECT!!!

  • its got to be best line that matt smith has said in doctor who

  • This is the monologue that sold Matt Smith to me.

  • The Doctor is so badass, he can fire a gun without pulling the trigger!

  • For a Doctor Who drinking game, you would have to adapt it based on each Doctor:

9-Every time he calls Micky "Micky the Idiot" -Says "Fantastic"

10-Gets snogged -Says "Allons-y" -Says "Brilliant" -Puts on his specs

11-Says "Geronimo" -Says "Come along, Pond"

    With all of them

    Breaks out sonic screwdriver

    Daleks or cybermen come up

  • @soldiergirl84 For 10, also when ever he says Sorry

  • @stickmanpwner64 Oh, and for 11, whenever he flips out, replies to River Song's "I hate you"s with "No you don't", River Song says "Hello, Sweetie" or "Spoilers", or 11 calls River Song "Mrs Robinson" (or there's any reference to "The Graduate"). And for everyone, there's a big monologue.

  • I'f you're smart, if you value your continuing existence, if you have any plans about seeing tomorrow there's one thing you never ever put, in a trap..........me.

  • One of the most epic things he has said, besides

Doctor: "Do you know what boys say in the face of danger?"

    Kid: "What?"

    Doctor: "Mommy."

  • so w8 the show is about weeping angels or are there other things ive never seen it before

  • @gamerzx10 No, the Angels are just one of the many aliens The Doctor encounters. The weeping angels have only appeared in about 2 episodes of doctor who, this one and one with the previous Doctor.

  • @gamerzx10 Haha , you seem really interested :D

  • @96somethingsomething :Ptell you the truth i cant even remember how i got here then i got hooked

  • @gamerzx10 I know what you mean. It's very addictive

  • I thought one should never say "never ever", Doctor...

  • Doctor: There is one thing you never EVER put in a trap.

Angel Bob: What would that be sir?

    *Everybody looks at Doctor*

    Doctor: Me.

  • to everyone who says this is the first time he used a gun.

YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE NEVER WATCHED THE END OF TIME

  • WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT EPISODE THIS IS PLEASE!!!! I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT FOREVER!!! (I feel ashamed to call myself a fan and not know what episode this is)

  • @asupersparkyperson68 the weeping angels :D

  • @asupersparkyperson68

The Time of Angels (series 5, episode 4)

  • @asupersparkyperson68

    Time Of Angels

  • @asupersparkyperson68 the time of angels (1)

    season 5
