When I was a kid in the 80s, I sometimes felt like Claire and Cliff Huxtable, were like my mom and dad telling me what to do. Whenever they told their TV kids something, it felt as if they were also telling me through the TV. Learned a lot from them, believe it or not.
'Marie' is Judith Jamison, who was one of the world's leading dancers and star of the Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre. She just retired as Director. She has danced with many of the world's great dancers including Mikhail Baryshnikov.
ahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaa!!!!!!!!! he picked clair up nd almost droped her, i had to rewind that part like 10 times!!!! ahahahahahahahaha!!! HILARIOUS!!!!
no matter how many times i watch this, that scene where claire jumps in cliff's arms & then he swings her across the the couch & he JUMPS on that couch will always make me laugh!
I love how he can fake being knocked off his feet by Claire without actually falling or dropping her, and still make it look real. That man is one of the greatest comedians who ever lived.
They all ways have such great shows !!!! they really are talented ACTORS, and ACTRESSES !!!!!!!!! I LOVE EVERY ONE !!! INDIVIDUALLY! ! ! and there MOVIES ! ! ! ! ! !
@Bonzibuddy4ever2 The children were not white, they are fair skinned, if you have not noticed, the grandfather is very light, in those days it would not have been but a couple generations before that there were slave masters mixing the race, therefore, it is possible that the complexion comes from an earlier generation. Ignorance comes in all forms, to be upset by something like the color of skin is simple minded. Please use your thoughts for productive behavior, thanks. not rude, just honest.
im also happy claire was looking at cliff when he started to run on the couch because it didn't look like he was stopping whether she moved or not. = )
The Cosby Show was and still is one the best shows of the 80's. As always, this is one the classic moments of Cliff and Claire They are one of the most memorable couples on TV in my opinion. .
