  • Gibson+ Marshall = Heaven.

  • I have a '79 'the paul'...absolutely love it...bought it at "blue eagle music" in Athens, Ohio...My favorite Mom and Pop guitar shop...love that place...

  • I have the same guitar. A '79 "The Paul". got it for my 14th birthday and will never part with it! Great playing!

  • i hav that guitar, its a beauty

  • amazing!

  • @spontanp Thank you!! Glad you like it!! Rob

  • The band sounds great. One of the FEW (club bands)I have seen on YouTube, that I actually enjoyed hearing. I am a guitarist ,(and don't get me wrong, I DON'T think I'm MR. WONDERFUL), I just know quality music and after all the years in the bars, I'm not easily impressed. Great sound, above average recording, and I love "The Paul" I fell in love with them when I was a kid and this is a shining example of why. Nice playing my man and that drummer sure can sing! LOL

  • @11harrison11 Bro, that's an awesome comment that is greatly appreciated by all of us. Thank you!!

When i was a kid, those were the only "Pauls" you could get for around $600 brand new. A friend of mine got one and it was a really sweet guitar. Now i'm lucky enough to own 2 and they are equally sweet.

    Rob

  • My 1979 The Paul desperately needs a refretting. I've worn it down damn near to the fretboard. Being broke sucks.

    :(

  • how does the guitar sound clean? I'm thinking about getting one..

  • @Zebbie86 Pretty good as T-tops are not high gain PUs, but i rarely use humbuckers for clean sound so what do i know lol!! But go try one i'm sure you'll love it!!

    Rob

  • what the fuck is the drummer doin

  • What did you pay for your The Paul? I've been yearning for one for a few years..

  • I love that raw Marshall sound. The Paul sounds great.

    5 stars

    Robin :o)

  • Thanks Robin!!

    Rob

  • My uncle had a The Paul, man that guitar ripped! Nice RH BTW.

  • Thanks!! Yeah these are awesome guitars. I've got two now and if i find another one i'll buy it for sure.

    Rob

  • This sound is Les Paul + Marshall, but it is surely a warm sound, good tone

  • Great Blues guys.

    Thanks

  • Thank you!!

  • Cool Rob, I was debating in 1979 to buy a The Paul or the Les Paul Deluxe.

    Sounds Sweet!

  • Thanks!! I love LPD. There's something about those Minis that is just brilliant, but those early TP are so sweet that after i bought this one, i got myself another one about 2 weeks later. To me they feel more comfortable that a "regular" LP and you can get them pretty cheap too!!

    Rob

  • very fine sound with les paul walnut .

I have got a es 345 '73 walnut and Iike it very much.

    Regards,

    Peter.

  • Thanks Peter!! i love thinline Gibsons!! i've got a '67 335 and just love it!!

    Rob

  • Encore une fois bravo! et vive Jimi Hendrix!

  • PAY close attention people these guys got the stuff cant wait to hear an original tune would love to hear them live very nice!!!!

  • thanks for the kind words. all i can tell you is that we're already working on some. i wrote a bunch of completed songs and the boys are putting their magic tough on them!!

    Rob

  • Hey nice sound! What year is the Gibson? I have a Gibson Sonex from 82, a budget Gibbo but it sounds awesome! 5 Stars no problem! G

  • thanks! it's a '79. i've got 2 of them, and they both sound great with their walnut body and T-top PUs!!

    Rob

  • are you using .10's on it? great playing as always!

  • thanks! on all my guitars, i'm using D'addario EXL145 XL Heavy Electric Guitar Strings (12-54) in A440. that makes a great difference in tone, you get a lot more ring from your guitar.

    Rob

    Rob

  • Daaaamn! You've got real talent man, would love to see you live!

    Colin.

Very inspired playing, Rob. Dug it!
