Why is that most PC games companies don't support notebooks? Why else would there be a dedicated gaming graphics card in notebooks if not to play games?

I bought this game and nowhere on the box does it say "This game does not support mobile chipsets", yet a reply from Aspyr tech support says exactly that.

Its bullshit like this that pushes players towards the consoles.

Of course one of the motivations for lots of modding is a multiplayer community. But then if there were good modding tools for TFU, people would be making single player maps and replacement player models, most likely.

@Haru2550 the game in the video is "Ultimate Sith Edition" which is the only version of this game released for the PC. Of course it's identical to the original "Force Unleashed" except that all of the downloadable content ("DLC") is already included.

@Haru2550 I don't yet own the game, but from what I'm told, when you first start up Ultimate Sith Edition you can pick which campaign you want to start. there's the normal one which is the full game of The Force Unleashed, and then there are the bonus campaigns which were like the downloadable content (ie: the Hoth mission, the Tatooine Mission, the Jedi Temple Mission, etc). They aren't part of the regular campaign. they are their own separate campaigns which you can play any time.

intel centrino 2.13ghz, 9600m gs 1gb. your using a laptop? this is not a high end pc. the uploader is getting good preformance because of his gtx 260 with 216 stream procs. and an e8400 oc to 4.0 ghz.. i suggest you ugrade to midrange. amd phenom II x3 720 and a ati hd4770 its pretty cheap now

I heard somewhere that the lag is caused by the high-detail model of your character. If you change it to a custom model, like a stormtrooper, it evens out the framerate.

I have a High end PC I just bought the game from walmart & I'm mad as shit Im running windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit Nvidia 9600m GS 1 GB it plays all games even crysis on high @ 720p but this shit wont play right at all even when I overclock it I still get 30Fps that feels more like 15fps I love this game and this is simply fucked up my question is do you think there will be a patch for graphic settings if not Im taking it back to walmart 2morrow THXs

Everyone should complain to LucasArts and Aspry. Maybe they'll release a patch to uncap the framerate and improve other things. If enough people complain...

I did some looking around and found no tweaks to unlock the framerate. And I dont think there's much mod support, if any.

@Erik1495 well JKA was a little different because it was using the Quake 3 engine, so we already knew we could use d3 models and so forth. the tools were simply adapted from existing stuff for games on the same engine. in fact, even before JK Radient was released, people had created addon levels for JKA, using the tools from Raven's earlier game, Elite Force.

@Erik1495 well it doesn't have to be Quake3 per se, I'm just saying that there are plenty of robust game engines out there that already have extensive modding tools available. If a Star Wars game gets made on such an engine, then potentially modding for it would be a lot easier than on an engine where there is little to no such support (or won't ever be), such as Force Unleashed.

For a smoothly gameplay, you have to configure the sound option to 16 Bits 48000Hz, and, like magic trick, you gonna have a better gameplay..
