  • whats a bum wheel?

  • how much?? ...

  • @kingmsn93 350 euros :)

  • @slayerdude10 More chunky/heavy.

  • I'm thinking. This or a Les Paul. Any suggestions? I play mostly rock and metal.

  • @codismyBxTCH do u want more of a chunk type sound or something more melodic...

  • @codismyBxTCH An rg. the s series isnt known for "chunk". And I personally feel les pauls are over- priced and overrated.

  • @PainfulExodus wouldn't it be better to get one of these babies and change the pickups to something more "chunky"? I mean the Zero trem and the weight alone make this guitar amazing....

  • @codismyBxTCH get the lp

  • how much the price this guitar........ can u reply for me?

    thank you

  • @ffstelmo About 500 dollars, check it on Musicians friend.

  • @ffstelmo its 800 but not available in this model, the model still available is the s420 and its exactly the same but 24 frets instead of 22

  • Ibanez comes from Ibáñez, a Spanish surname.

    My surname is Ibáñez :D

  • Paul can do especially one thing, all the guitars that he´s tryin´ to show us sounds like a pure shit... Maybe bacause most of them are metal guitars and Paul clearly has no feeling for metal music...Sorry Paul but you sucks!

  • @skimam just because he doesnt like to play metal doesnt mean that he suck everyone has their own taste in music and by the way most of Ibanez guitars are all around guitars which mean they can be played for almost any kind of music js

  • @GuitarGod94XxXx Well, ok, maybe i should have say that guitarworld suck because they let him play the metal stuff and guitars although he doesn´t like it and we that do like it are disapointed

.Anyway what really do sucks is my fuckin´ bad english, but i´m trying to improve it :-)

  • @skimam well from my opionan i think he's trying to show us that it isnt just a metal guitar it can be played in varity of music. most just perfered ibanez as a metal guitar

dont worry about your english mine not great either

  • whats the difference between the s320 and the s420???

  • @PosetiveBubba 420 has 24 frets

  • @TheLzj Thanks! Got my s420 like a year ago and i recently hooked it up with some chomed 81/85 emgs ;) sounds and lookes awesome!

  • I own one of these, and it's the cheapest, yet somehow, the best guitar I've ever owned! lol

  • that was FUCKIN' EPIC >:D

  • what is the diff between this guitar and s420?

  • @MrLemonade88

    s420 has 24 frets and s320 has 22. it's the only diffrence :)

  • does this one actually stay in tune or is it just another dud ibanez?

  • I have a Prestige S series... best guitars in the world. I love mine to death. Nice video!

  • my first and favorite guitar.

I bought it about three and a half years ago and out of my three guitars (the s320, a Gibson Darkfire and a Ibanez K7) this is my favorite

My username is like this cuz I created this account when I first got the Darkfire but now I'm back to good old Ibanez

  • Great guitar. I've had it for two years now. The stock pickups are just ok. I did swap them out with EMG 81/60, MUCH better. Because it is a thinner guitar, it does sound a little lighter, as in not much bass to it. Not a huge deal, but this guitar is definitely worth it's money.

  • HA! Paul cannot shred isnt it?

  • some people get way too hung up on what guitar they should buy based on other peoples opinions.... what you need to do is actually go to the music store and play the shit out of all the guitars until you find one that suits you the best. unless it is your first guitar. then you should probably get one that wlll make you want to come back to it.

  • @kellyisvlogging unfortunately there aren't many places that have many lefty's ^^/

  • where on the guitar is the thing u lift up to be able to tune with the knobs by the head? i got this guitar 2 days ago,and i cant find it? HELP!

  • i also pooped my pants a little when he burst into that solo :O

  • damn, i wish i bought an ibanez rather than my godan sd :( no offense godan i like it but this sounds good

  • 3:28 to 3:36 - i didn't know blues-rock players could shred like that!

  • it sounds even better with Dimarzio pickups

  • Might be getting this in march :D

  • @trignite why march?

  • @Gambit7Beyond My birthday is in march but i actually have it now lol :D

  • @trignite oh..... haha, cool. anyway, since u have it. do u mind if i can ask you this. how much is the price of it? because im debating getting this guitar or one of these:

    Jackson DKMGT Dinky

    LTD H-351

    Schecter Shedevil C-1

    what would u sugest?

  • @Gambit7Beyond It was advertised in most stores in Adelaide for 1000 and an online store had it for 700. I talked someone down at a store here in Adelaide to 780 and they got it in the day before. As far as suggesting guitars i would just recommend you look at some reviews and get a hands on experience with them at some stores. Been happy with the guitar except the whammy bar makes a squeaky noise when i turn it around not sure why (going to ring the shop up and ask them) i also got a pod 2.0 :D

  • @trignite wtf u were bullshitted its only max 500

  • @SHuffleHardDieTryinG Because all currency is the same... lol I looked at tons of online shop prices and retail stores before purchasing. I was hardly ripped off.

  • @Gambit7Beyond many say that if u want an ibanez s series check out older models made in japan.(cheaper and better quality , but they are used ofc ;P)

i think it plays good, think about if u need that whammy bar. bc if u like to play drop d often for example u better get another guitar. it takes a while to tune it. on the other hand it wont get out of tune as long as you dont change ur settings.

i noticed its a bit noisy , so prob you better change the pickups later on for real madness sound.

  • @Gambit7Beyond I also have 0 problems with the whammy bar now just needed a little bit of oil its quiet now

  • what five way switch position is good for rock and roll?

  • @ddpunk123 the one you like the sound the best maybe?? seriously try it u will notice the differences and everybody got taste.

  • Holy shit he rocks oo

  • Ibanez guitars are good but they are so damn expensive =[

  • @Zerobadniks Not this one though. It's only about 500$

  • @Zerobadniks you get what you pay for....

  • I didnt know that my guitar can do like that :D

  • @HeALthMaIdEn dude, its probably your fingers

  • Oh God, I came lol

  • do you think i could play anything from pop rock to metal on this guitar ?

    PLEASE REPLY !!!

  • @JordanAnthonyMcCreth I own this guitar and it is perfect for the job! I would have some sample videos if WMG didn't decide to remove them however!

  • @shaada100 Thx Man ...

  • @JordanAnthonyMcCreth its not the guitar its the one playing it. :D SO i dont know if U can play anything on it.

  • hows the sustain in this guitar?

am confused between his and the RG420fb

same price here so any suggestions ??

  • @blazer551 its a awesome guitar, i reccomend it :) check my channel if you want to hear how it sounds :)

  • Man, Paul is a fucking beast.

  • check out 1:56

  • the thing i like about the guitar is 1 the wood its mahogany its a dense wood but without the weight and the bridge its the only type of floyd rose that i have ever played then whenever i break a string live it the whole guitar doesnt go out of tune so i like it alot

  • It's just too small for me, unfortunately. Great guitar - my second favourite Ibanez (second to the JEM).

Too bad the JEM is too expensive and the s320 is too small =/

  • @Canadianspunge Then there's the JS series, and there's the RGD, and the RG prestige series guitars.

  • @ShadowLancer128 Not a big fan of the JS series, and I haven't really tried the RGD. I find that you can get a lot more guitar for a lot less when it comes to the RG Prestiges.

  • @Canadianspunge the rgd is ibanez's final insult to metal people. a guitar tuned one whole step down, entirely, to D. the pickups are quite nearly EMG.

The RG prestiges are yours to play with. You can tweak them to sound like anything. Want Tom Morello's sound? the Dimarzio Air Norton and a killswitch get thrown onto the guitar. Want Steve Vai's sound? buy an Edge bridge, and Breed pickups. done.

  • @ShadowLancer128 This is true I guess. Thanks for the advice... I do love Vai's sound =)

  • @Canadianspunge It's my honor. really.

  • @ShadowLancer128 if it's great , why would it be an insult?

  • @alapunk13 well, its basically a metal guitar. To me, all guitars should be uniform, but entirely customizable. To me, Ibanez making the RGD available like that is just calling people metal whores, and saying, "look, we both know you're not going anywhere with music, but we'll take your money and give you a crap guitar that you would think is great."

  • @ShadowLancer128 well some people don't actually have the time to be customizing a guitar, and a ready made metal guitar for a metalhead would be really convenient and besides it really looks good to say the least but that's just me, perhaps it doesn't suit your taste and I understand that completely :)

  • @alapunk13 that's very true. However I'd like you to know just how much fun Ibanez has with those guys. they made an RG with no Neck pickup, ffs! .... LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!

  • @ShadowLancer128 in my opinion they should release a guitar with no pickups at all! lol Just the thin wizard neck plus the superstrat body, that's all I need anyway, I'd like to choose my own pickups and whatnot :)

  • @alapunk13 ... as in there wasn't even a cut-out FOR the neck pickup... dude choosing your own pickups and putting them in is one thing, but buying an RG with no cutouts is another. If you want a great guitar, im a fan of the JS series, and am DYING to try a JS2400.

  • @ShadowLancer128 owww, no neck pickup for the br00tal metalheads, i won't be surprised it got not tone knob either lol, yeah JS series are great guitars but I'm not really a fan of signature series guitars, the typical rg's like the rg550 is well enough for me :)

  • @alapunk13 lolololol!!!!! yeah some people arent too demanding of their instruments, I am particularly discriminate about my guitar, for instance I have INFinity pickups and I note that my harmonics need to be a bit louder, and I need a bit stronger sustain

  • @alapunk13 I also note that I need the guitar's body to be round at the edges like a JS series for total comfort when playing while standing. I need to modify the radius of my neck, and I need 26.5" scale with frets 17-22 scalloped for better playability, and I want TT frets to REALLY spoil my ears.

  • cool dude

  • that little rock thingy, starting at around 2:00 and ending at 2:28 is very metallica-ish, around the Load and REload albums, very nice

  • OMG Enough of clean sound!

  • Holy shit solo... Blew my mind!

  • i;m thinking of getting this (S320) or the S670. Which is better??

  • Ibanez are the best. Especially for the money and metal

  • mine sounds nothing like this.... mine sounds like shit!

  • its probably your amp

  • @supapuffy2007 i thought that too but my amps good its my brothers he dont use anymore its a custom half stack and its relly good but i got and ol squire strat and it sounds better and i tryed evrything to make my ibanez sound better i took it to guitar shops and got if fixed up and tuned and evrything but idk its prolly a bad guitar or sumthin

  • have you tried to dial the sound? Every guitar sounds little bit different than other one. i'm using different tones with my guitars 'cause they sound bit different to each other.

  • @ZH3DD300 This is video edited. Of course you're not gonna hear the "bare bones" sound of the guitar.

  • Comfortable guitar, if i have it, i'll change that inifinity pick ups for an Air norton and Tone Zone. (Di marzio).

  • I hate this guy... every guitar or amp he play is the best gguitar or amp on the earth...and he isn't good to play guitar..

  • @modellof23 So what? Do You want to Satch or Kirk or Steve Vai should do Review's ?

    Sorry for bad english.

  • no i don't but it would be better if this demostration was done by people who can play

  • @modellof23 But wait... He can play guitar .... but also I understand you ;)

  • I own this guitar, and i went nuts on the whammy bar, stayed in tune! This guitar is amazing, and its not expensive

  • i have a s520ex&that guitar is a dream to play on.not because im a fanboy, but because the neck is amazing, the trem is awesome.i love it,the only trouble i ever had with it,was when i first boguth it&the locking nut was stripped, but samash fixed it for me&didnt charge me,bc it was their fault.the pickups are decent, not crazy awesome, but get the job done.ive had the guitar 3 years&its doing perfect

  • what amp is he using? anybody knowss???

  • Dude I hate the riffs he does they're so annoying. And it only sounds bad becuase his treble is up too much.

  • @MarkAL95: hey hey... how bout?... fuck you!?!?! that solo at the end was legit, i'd like to see you do that.

  • Yo calm down. I was just saying, I don't like the riffs. The solo was alright, but the riffs were retarded.

  • I was really entertained when I watched the begining and thought he wasnt that good only to watch his solo XD

  • ur whammy bar technique is poor ....u should use it harder ... the whammy part didnt convince me ..like u play it as a girl ...do some man pull up ...i bet urs got out of tune ...i noticed because u didnt play it harder

  • idk what paul is talking about, that guitar sounds like shit,at least the bridge pickup does, its wayy too scooped.the clean neck neck/bridge sounded great though.

  • Learn to spell before you rant please.

  • im looking at getting this guitar for christmas, all i have is acoustic/keyboard amps, if i get something like a line 6 POD and plug it in through that, then the amp will it still sound decent?

  • yeah it should sound pretty good

  • The Solo is so sick.. Fuck Man xD

    I Love the Solo ^^

  • yeahhhh good guitar good desmostration...

  • how much do jumbo frets help the easibility to play notes?

  • oops i accidentally hit thumbs down but you dont need to press down as far to fret the note

  • I bought myself this and the line 6 spider for my birthday :)

Both are awesome the floyd rose is a bitch to tune, though.

  • This guitar has been my main axe since i bought it a few years ago, I love it. It's smooth and fast, and VERY lightweight. The trem is amazing, its an Ibanez ZR (zero resistance) trem and it rides on ball bearings. The thumbwheel is a lifesaver for adjusting the tension on the fly without any use of tools. Great variety of tones. 9/10.

  • i had one of these and had so many problems with it, just remember you don't always get what you pay for in the guitar biz. keep in mind if its not a Prestige, it wasn't made in japan; ibanez moved their production factory to indonesia so quality has been severely compromised!

  • what went wrong?

  • Quality's down but not by much.

Don't diss on lower-end guitars. Some of them are awesome.

  • I bought a gibson sg but i liked this way better, and its really fast

  • bo la compro

  • amps is that?

  • Whoa!!! i have just placed my order for one of these!!!

Waawa weewa It 's a nice!

  • LOL! Hell yea! Tell us how it goes! I may get one too!

  • Will do! my s320 left the warehouse in germany today, ill recieve it in like 3-5 days! AND I CANT WAIT!!!! cheers!

  • I tested it out at Guitar Center today, and it's great! I can't for christmas, and plus I'm getting a Vox Valvestate amp with it :D!!!!!!!

  • cool! just make sure you tighten the arm's torque nut enough every time you play, it is prone to breaking if loose because of cheap metals

    Cheers!

  • Can we change the metal on it?

  • Just some friendly advice, make sure you actually play it before buying.

Biggest mistake I ever made on guitar purchase was buying before trying.

It looked slick, sounded great, had all the hardware I loved, got the guitar and there it sits. Guitar was a Dean ML, neck was too fat and was like 6ft. long. I ended up selling it.

Just trying to help someone avoid the dumb mistake I made, lesson learned.

  • Thanks, but the company i ordered from had a 30 day send back warranty in case i would not like it, and the guitar is brilliant it plays and sounds great!

  • Can i tune this guitar, in drop d, drop c, or i only can use the standard tune

  • you can tune it like you want

  • It only depends on your skill level in tuning and intonating guitars, though, you may need to consider getting a heavier gauge of strings and perhaps re-file your nut, and maybe also buy an extra trem spring, if you want to use a baritone / very low tuning.

  • you can tune it to anything just like with any other double locking trem.

  • the solo at the end is amazing. paul has a very unique style of playing

  • agreed, i love how his hand just continues the extremely fast speed and just slides across the fretboard

  • my jaw fell a thousand miles into the fiery pits of hell

  • @alexswmr yeah, Paul Riario is a good guitar player

  • for anyone who wonders what happened to that s prestige i traded it for a fender strat and traded the strat for an s540 WAY better guitar thinner neck better tremolo better quality nuff said

  • i have to warn anyone who is considering this guitar. i had an s prestige and the zr tremolos arm socket broke out. it's a common part that breaks because it's made of cheap metal. you're better off getting something with an original floyd rose or an edge tremolo or lo pro tremolo. ANYTHING but a zr as good as they are functionally they're built horribly. if you don't use tremolo however the s series guitars are great but i'd get something from the 90s like an s540 if i were you

  • how much better is the new s prestige?

  • Comment removed

  • i don't know how the new zr bridges are but the older ones aren't that good but for the money this guitar slays

  • Sweet guitar, I have one FOR SALE . Its the same as in the video except i put active EMG 81/85 pickups in + strap locks, and it also comes with an AKG hardshell case. I am asking $400 for all of it. New the guitar is $500 but you godda figure I put in $200 worth of pickups and the case is a $100 some case. you would have to pay shipping if you dont live in michigan haha. If your interested send me a message!

  • Great guitar... Really great.

  • my friend have this guitar.. and its a great guitar.. it looks very beautiful, sounds and feels very good... and cheap...

  • i hate stock ibanez pickups.

  • Not the guitar just that gay paul guy's gay effects. bad tone...

  • ur mom sounds horrid when i´m fucking her bitch

  • wow, your a smart cock jockey arent you.

    get some better insults.

  • I have this guitar and ive had it for about a year now its really good for playing shows because really light the only down side in my oppion is the finish cause it chips really easily if your not careful

  • wouldve been a good trade for you if conditions are similar

  • i just jizzed in my pants, i want this guitar now :(

  • I have on for sale if your interested. except it has active emg 81/85 pickups in it and comes with strap locks and an akg hardshell case. message me if your interested

  • Firstly, not liking a guitar because of headstock size is childish and has nothing to do with the sound, which should be your top priority, not looks. And secondly, have you ever seen a Jackson?

  • OK, mature dude, suck my balls.

  • But dude, It's the same size as a fender neck, Kramer, gibson explorer, And jackson.

  • you choose a guitar for looks not sound?

  • I'm choosing guitar by the wood it's made of and by its look. I always change wires, pickups, and a bridge (if possible) on all my guitars - I don't like stock stuff.

  • word? why not build your own guitars

  • Isn't that really expensive though?

You might as well pay for a guitar that sounds good AND looks good. This one, for example =P

  • Why not just buy a guitar with quality stuff on it?

  • jep it does i've got one now and the finish is just black painted wood so you have to be carefull with this guitar

  • I Guess It Would be hard To maintain Such A Guitar If That's The Finish On It....Would Still be Worth Recommending?...I Mean If u Wanna use It for long term......Honestly speaking i'd rather a guitar with gloss finishing or one with a shine rather then this one with just simple paint finish....hahaha..cheers

  • i'm guessing it's due to knock arounds?....

  • are they good to do harmonics on? i am about to buy one, and i play lots of satriani stuff, like songs like surfing with the alien and satch boogie and stuff, i heard from some ppl that this guitar is pretty much perfect for that kind of music, but then some ppl say that the pickups are terrible... please help me, thanks in advance :)

  • gkl5gkl5 have you watched the video till the end? There's your answer about harmonics.

As far as pickups go - there're pretty bad indeed. I mean they're not horrible (in fact they're one of the best stock pickups I've ever played). But it's always better to put some Seymour Dunkans or DiMarzios or even EMGs on any guitar (unless it already comes with those pickups). But that's just my opinion. You should go to your local Guitar Center - they probably have this model there. And just test it out.

  • i'm Kinda Doubting the Finishing color on the guitar though...It's nice and all but was wondering if the colour would face defects like chipping...most of the guitars i play are black gloss like or BKN...but this one i'm not to sure if the color would last...

  • It The Pick Up Selector a 5 way or a 3 way switch?...

  • nearly all ibanez strats got a 5 way selector and this one, too

  • 5 way.

  • I got this guitar and it plays fuckin amazing, but the finish chips really easily.

  • IBanez guitars = best guitars in my opinion

  • I'm getting this thing in september probably :D. I can't fucking wait!

  • I WANT THIS GUITAR!!!!!!!!
