There are many things that I don't like or understand about this company. First of all, every time I went to an event, it reminded me as if I would attend a Sunday service. Completely false. Im 18 years old and have been with ACN for two weeks now and have gotten every bonus on there list. I've surpassed multiple people above me and am making more money then them. This business is going to allow me to open my own office before i even get out of highschool. I am now making more money than both my parents combined which my stepfather owns his own business and my mother is getting paid 42 dollars an hour as a flight attendant.

One thing ACN doesn't tell you is that if the customers you sign up for their service fails to pay their monthly bills, you, as the ACN rep who signed them up, has to pay the bill for them. That is just one of the many little surprises that await you when you sign up for ACN. Another problem is that you are not allowed to sell their video-phone system in the US yet, so what's the point? They just want you to find new reps who will pay the $500 start-up fee and the additional $130 or so per year.
@tmmt1234 It was about 2-3 years ago when an ex-coworker tried to get me involved with ACN and at that time there was some reason that ACN's video phone system wasn't allowed to be sold in most US markets. His selling point was that when US law allowed the system to be sold nation wide, ACN reps would be primed and ready to jump in to the market. I'm happy to see that the market has opened up for ACN. Do ACN reps still have to pay their customers bills if the customer fails to?

My best friend of nearly 20 years transformed into a monster in just days. She used high pressure tactics, refused to take no for an answer and became quite belligerent when I chose not to become involved or buy the services offered. I completely supported her new business venture but declined to become personally involved. I was quickly labeled a "naysayer" and was abruptly hung up on. I was invited to go to a "business opportunity" meeting. When I started to ask questions about what it was really about, I was told "just trust me". I did not go and figured out what my friend was into because he mentioned "Donald Trump endorsed" in the conversation. So here I had a friend since childhood using deception to get me to go into the "lions den" of slick talking sales sharks to try to open my wallet up for the $499 rep fee. I know he has been coached. Also they do not tell you to NOT go to cold market, they train you to focus on the people you know FIRST and THEN go after cold market. The commissions they will pay you for selling the phone is 1/4 percent. Do the match. For a $99 phone sale, you get 25 cents. For the $69 DSL service and the phone service, your commission is 17 cents. However, the guy that is 7 levels above you, he is getting 10% for all your hard work. So he gets 40 times the amount you get paid. He gets $10 for your phone sale, you get 25 cents. He gets $6.90 a month commission, you get 17 cents.
That is because the guy who is 7 levels above you put A LOT of hard work in putting the TIME, Money and effort in building up his team. You don't sit back on your ass at home while your downline does all the work. People who make ACN work for them help their team grow. It is the same in ANY business. The only way to make money for yourself is to help your team make money.

No one is saying it can't work if you put the effort and time in. I met people who were VERY successful with ACN.
To make it work, you have to recruit at the $499 fee, and buy 1 or 2 phones for yourself and family. But no one is going to sell a phone for 25 cents commission. It wont happen. So they have to recruit based on a lie of 20 phones per team. That's why they pressure you right away to recruit your friends. It can work, if you are comfortable selling a lie to the people you love.

What I would like to figure out is how the ACN people who claim great riches actually did it? How did they move from a "warm market" to a cold market and sell all the ACN products without using outside advertising as it is my understanding that ACN does not allow you to use commercial advertising. One thing ACN doesn't tell you is that if the customers you sign up for their service fails to pay their monthly bills, you, as the ACN rep who signed them up, has to pay the bill for them. That is just one of the many little surprises that await you when you sign up for ACN. Another problem is that you are not allowed to sell their video-phone system in the US yet, so what's the point? They just want you to find new reps who will pay the $500 start-up fee and the additional $130 or so per year.

@tmmt1234 It was about 2-3 years ago when an ex-coworker tried to get me involved with ACN and at that time there was some reason that ACN's video phone system wasn't allowed to be sold in most US markets. His selling point was that when US law allowed the system to be sold nation wide, ACN reps would be primed and ready to jump in to the market. I'm happy to see that the market has opened up for ACN. Do ACN reps still have to pay their customers bills if the customer fails to?

Nobody in MLM will admit that they are not making any money, because that would counter their efforts towards recruiting more no-money-making consultants, so that they might someday make some money off their efforts. It's brilliant! They pay no salary to a bunch of people who run around recruiting their own competition, so they can benefit on the work someone else does. I was invited to go to a "business opportunity" meeting. When I started to ask questions about what it was really about, I was told "just trust me". I did not go and figured out what my friend was into because he mentioned "Donald Trump endorsed" in the conversation. So here I had a friend since childhood using deception to get me to go into the "lions den" of slick talking sales sharks to try to open my wallet up for the $499 rep fee. I know he has been coached. Yes, ACN is like an evil cult.

They label you as a "rotten apple" if you say no. Yes, they transform into monsters. Money is their god. It's pretty creepy what they do. It is very cult-like.

Donald Trump would con his own mother out of her last dime. Acn tried to get me, bought the phone just for kicks and took it apart, what a piece of shit. Who designed this phone; professor numb nuts? The proof is in the products and customer reviews. If you want to know about a company, ask it's customer, not the down on their luck sales reps that they recruit. Most ACN reps stutter when asked detailed technical questions about the products.

Myself, and two of my friends signed up with ACN in Jan 10. It costs $499 to start up. Within the first month each one of us got enough points to receive a $1000 bonus. We got paid; I bought a new couch with my bonus. We each doubled our $500 start up fee, and now we have a business for life. That's a scam?

Acn is a tool , use the tool to your advantage, nothing will be handed to you, you need to work at it, I have been an acn rep for a little over a year, and now my acn residual is paying my mortgage. ACN can do nothing for you, or it can pay your bills, its up to you to make it work.. it is a business not a jackpot..

The guy that made this video didn't do all his research on ACN. No one in ACN gets paid by recruiting people. You only get paid when you or your team gets customers. Also they do not tell you to NOT go to cold market, they train you to focus on the people you know FIRST and THEN go after cold market. This guy is in another MLM company and he's just trying to get you all to look at his. I was in 4 before I was blessed with the ACN opportunity, however its not easy, YOU HAVE TO PUT IN WORK!!!!!!!

I have to admit that when I first did my research on ACN, I also thought it was a scam but I did my research!! I looked at the Better Business Bureau website, I looked at the Direct Selling Association website, I looked at REAL business sites and got all my facts straight and found that ACN had very high standards and were very reputable! People need to learn how to research real sources!

Watch the backlighting.
The commissions they will pay you for selling the phone is 1/4 percent. Do the match. For a $99 phone sale, you get 25 cents. For the $69 DSL service and the phone service, your commission is 17 cents. However, the guy that is 7 levels above you, he is getting 10% for all your hard work. So he gets 40 times the amount you get paid. He gets $10 for your phone sale, you get 25 cents. He gets $6.90 a month commission, you get 17 cents.

That is because the guy who is 7 levels above you put A LOT of hard work in putting the TIME, Money and effort in building up his team. You don't sit back on your ass at home while your downline does all the work. People who make ACN work for them help their team grow. It is the same in ANY business. The only way to make money for yourself is to help your team make money.
Also noticed how most "Experts" on MLM or internet marketing mention how THEY can help you make money? They're the scam!!

No one is saying it can't work if you put the effort and time in. I met people who were VERY successful with ACN.
To make it work, you have to recruit at the $499 fee, and buy 1 or 2 phones for yourself and family. But no one is going to sell a phone for 25 cents commission. It wont happen. So they have to recruit based on a lie of 20 phones per team. That's why they pressure you right away to recruit your friends. It can work, if you are comfortable selling a lie to the people you love.

Also, the reason ACN hasn't been convicted yet is because of their fat, devout lawyers.

I signed up with ACN in March 2009. I am total delighted with ACN. They have performed on all of their promises. I received my first pay check the first month. ACN provides outstanding training and support. We are building our business within ACN providing Telecommunications Services to acquaintances and training our team to do the same. You have to work for your money and talk to people to earn money. If you don't, you won't earn money. This is a reputable company with high standards.

How did you lose phone service when the video phone uses the internet to call anyone? Did you cancel your internet? Also, the customer service is not all recorded, you have to use the 0 to talk to an operator for service and then they transfer you to a service person! This post sounds fake!!!!!
