she's really singing, the only reason why she move her head back is because she sings loud and if she keeps her head close to the mike, it won't be as smooth so she moves it back for it to be an equal sound

that's called "staccato". it requires good control of breath in the diaphragm, so you can sing the notes separately. i hope that kinda helps! :-)
