ey you got a d16y7 engine. those engine are suck cause i got those too. usually when i go up hill, miles drop down eventhough i tap gas. its not like other engine like sohc vtec. i put header, downpipe all the way 2 1/2 inches, N1 muffler, KnN filter intake, ground wire stablizse, high spark plug 10.22mm and it still slow drop the speed. these engine got long gear ratio and slow but if tune it more horsepower oh hell yes it will beat those sohc vtec ones.

Whats that coil thing near the BOV.

Why didnt the BOV release air when you let off the throttle?

And i see you're still running AC. Do you need a special downpipe/cast manifold to do that?

@chillincruisin the coil is to cool the oil before the turbo. bov didnt bov because the engine was not under enough of a load to spool the turbo up high enough to blow the valve open. as for the manifold... a cast manifold is usually the option you take if you want to keep the ac but it can be done with a properly fabricated header too.

I have a friend thats selling exedy stage 1 clutch but it doesnt have the bearing for it. Can i use my stock clutch bearing for it? for d16 civic

oil catch tank

turbo manifold

p28 ECU plus chip but for N/A not for turbo.

@CivicWorldClub u cant have the n/a chipped ecu unless u are under 7.5psi but ucan by a cheap spoon chip and have it installed and go to a junk yard and pull eclipse injectors and get a high pressure fuel pump then u should be ok

Get a decent kit on ebay like I did, I have a link on my channel that has all my pics and proccess of the setup, also the ebay kit, take a look. I am currently on 5-7 psi until I get the ecu chipped. HP should be around 200. Luck on the build

what did you do to have the A/C I would Like to have my A/C. I got A Garrett T3T4 and when i put that on my d15b vtec i would like to keep the A/c Cause you know sometimes it gets could you know lol!!!

Thanks, It´s a 1997 D16y7. Got the turbo from ebay along with some of the other parts like the BOV, Filter, Ignition Coil, Injectors, ECT. The pistons, Rods and all interior motor parts I got from FJ Distributors.
