I love both films. You should check out "Quiet City" too. And like @4442244pops said, "Harmony And Me" is fantastic too, probably my favorite in the genre.... though I would say it's only half mumblecore.
Beeswax is alright! If you like the Mumblecore genre - I'd recommend Bob Byington's films 'Harmony And Me' and 'RSO - Registered Sex Offender'. Bob Byington acts in 'Beeswax' and Andrew Bajalski acts in 'RSO - Registered Sex Offender'. Justin Rice stars in Harmony and Me. The DVDs are available from the films official websites! I think you'd like them.
Great reviews. I've seen Mutual Appreciation and liked it quite a bit. I haven't seen Funny Ha Ha yet though.I love the realistic dialogue of mumblecore films like you. I loved The Puffy Chair....if you get a chance try to see the whole thing.I'd also recommend The Freebie which came out earlier this year. The actress/director of it was in The Puffy Chair. Dax Shepard is in The Freebie as well but he's actually good in it! The Freebie is in the mumblecore style even though he's in it haha.
