It is harder to take the road less traveled, it is not the easy way out but the reward is great. The question is how tough ARE you? I used to be REAL bad. But I decided it was not worth it in the end. I realized that the example of Jesus and Mary was harder to follow. And that is a REAL test. ;)

Don't anyone get me wrong; the joke is obviously funny. But I think it wise not to confuse the fanbase with what the band itself represents. Are all Pink Floyd fans stoners? Of course not. Are all Linkin Park fans angry and self-loathing? Not likely. Are all fans of the Cure goth? Not at all. Do any of these bands represent solely those characteristics? I doubt it. Do start thinking logically, and My Chem fans, learn to laugh a bit. It's funny, not accurate.

@indyskater19 So if music isn't emo, it's punk? Emo is a genre associated with post-punk, originated in the 80s. U2, by the way, is post-punk also. My Chem is a rock band. Depending on the album, they have elements of post-hardcore, post-punk, glam, blues, proto-punk, and even power-pop. I mean, good lord, get to third grade English and an education in music. If you don't like a band, you don't like a band. At least learn the first thing about their music before ragging on them.
