Fatal Frame 1 13 Final Battle & Xbox-Only Ending

Ok I'm glad that its a happy ending and all but all that on Fatal mode and you don't even get a cutscene; that bombs. I mean even with the second ending you get Mafuyu telling Kirie deuces before him and Miku run out. This one all you get is some black and white/brown images.

THIS is how the game really ended. Fatal Frame 3.....that one was just too sad for everybody. So in my mind, that game didn't happen, and this is how Miku's story really ended :)

@waluigiland Actually, only the ending with Mafuyu staying with Kirie is the real ending. In FF3 it shows that, as it shows Miku's brother is gone.

I can tell you that her panties was black! I played at one place and saw it, with the help of a attacking ghost(without body but with head). At this timing, not so clear, moreover the environment is so blur. Cannot see well.

The little girl and the woman are both Kirie.

Kirie's duty is to become a sacrifice and close the gates to hell.

And yes, there are other endings, if you read the comments that louischou added to the video.

Ok, I discovered that Kirie's lover really doesn't have any name actually. His Japanese name is Kirie no Omihibito (which literally translated is Lover of Kirie).

So there were priests that had to do stranling ritual. They had to tie Kirie in order to do the ritual. And you saw in that video, that they pulled her limbs off. And with those ropes, they tied them up in front of the big door, so that the demons couldn't come out. Well, they failed and the demons came out and attacked to the whole village. The flying girl, who attacked, is Kirie. And you saw her behind Mafyu (Miku's brother) when Miku found him behind the statue...

In the earlier video you saw Kirie with a boy, who watched a tree. Kirie fell in love with that boy (I don't remember his name). And I don't remember was it those priests that didn't want that Kirie and the boy were together. So that boy was murdered and Kirie was sad (lol) and blaa blaa blaa. And if you looked closely Mafyu's and that boy's face, you saw that they looked same. So Kirie thought, that Mafyu was that boy and wanted him back, so they could be together again. But it didn't work...

because the little Kirie told to the older Kirie that is her duty to finish the ritual. So she stayed there, finished the ritual and the killed villagers got free from the curse or something like that. And Miku got her brother back and they lived happily. But in the true story, Mafyu stayed with Kirie, so that she wouldn't be alone and Miku went back to home alone.

I hope that you understood what I talked about. It's really confusing, I wrote a lot and my english isn't the best.

Just an extra note:

On the PS2, one ending has Mafuyu staying by Kirie's side after she seals the gate, choosing to spend eternity with her while she keeps the gates sealed. In the other ending, he escapes with his his sister, leaving Kirie to keep the gates closed.

As you can see, both endings are sad; you either lose your brother, or Kirie spends eternity all alone guarding the Gates of hell.

But in the X-Box version, we see that Kirie's lover appears to stay with her for eternity.

So in this case we get the best of both worlds:

Mafuyu survives and escapes with Miku, while Kirie is reunited with her love.

Unfortunately, Fatal Frame 3 indicates that Mafuyu chose to stay behind with Kirie, making the X-Box ending non-canon.

Both the Xbox versions of Fatal Frame 1 and Fatal Frame 2 are happy ones. That's why I only watch the walkthroughs until I get an Xbox 360, and play the Xbox versions of both game.

Can't stand the heartache and headache of bad endings, or the "neutral" endings as the people who made Fatal Frame call it.
