Balaclava Poet : I'm just replying to that message you sent me regarding, it's always been our choice, well thats almost correct, there is one simple fact, you've over looked, God is all seeing all powerful, he's the alpha and omega, which really is an understatement because He, infact has no beginning, has no end, he's knows every single thing about us, and every choice we make, now, then and in the future, so therefore, He already knows whose made the choice, and more importantly, he made it.
I believe Judging who's going to hell or heaven is a serious thing to say. Only the father and son "Jesus" know who is worthy of the kingdom of god. As human beings and followers of god we should teach the good news and the love of our lord rather than to judge one another. I can't say the rapture will happen neither can i say it won't but let the will of the lord be he's will and pray that we are safe... May god bless all
@TheLastdaysaint He isn't judging who will go to hell or not, but biblical prophecy states that those who reject Christ and accept the mark of the beast are actually choosing whom they will to serve.
@justcary well my statement never assumed i was reffering to one specific person. I was saying that no man shall judge one and point fingers and say he/she is going to hell because that is the job of the lord. He knows us best and knows are wrongs and rights and yes i do agree that he who accepts the mark of the beast it is indeed accepting to worship he who is evil. My point in the comment is do not teach the punishment of god but teach the love of jesus and he will guide that individual.
there is NO pre trib rapture....we will ALL be left to live thru this...the coming of the messiah will be shortly after the tribulation period
READ YOUR BIBLE
PRAY and GET RIGHT with the LORD for Christ is at our door...and we don't know when he'll come thru it. I wouldn't wait for a knock if I were you for he will come like a thief in the night. And those who weren't diligent will be sorry
GOD,(Jesus), would never send anyone to hell just for being microchiped, how stupid do you think god is, you might as well say if you havn't been baptised, or circumsized, or industrialized, what about institutionalized, christianized, poo poo eyes, its all getting a little too serious, lets leave the judging to our maker, if jesus god himself couldn't convert the rest of us in 2000 years, what hope do you have, god has pre worked out who's going and whose being recycled, so lets just get along.
@Sukkie69er -- if it was just about being microchipped you would be right BUT to take the chip you must worship the beast and this transfers the Lordship from Jesus to the Beast and that is what displeases God and rightly so. Thou shalt not have any gods before Him!
@Sukkie69er it wont be for just accepting a microchip, but those who accept the mark of the beast is in fact pledging their allegiance to the anti-christ. They will worship him as God. So for those who reject Christ and worship this beast, will in fact enter hell along with him. And God never worked out who is going and who is not. The bible says to all who will, let him come.. It has always been our choice.
Did you realize that even Jesus' prayers were not answered? He prayed that the cup of crucifixion would pass from him, that God's will would be done on earth, that God's kingdom would come, and that his followers would be "one" even as he and his father were one. But he was crucified, Satan is still the god of this world, and his followers have split into nearly 40,000 (forty thousand!) official denominations, each of which thinks it has the truth and that all others are in error. Wow.
Your god has not had a single success yet. He made perfect angels. He made perfect humans on a perfect earth. He had a perfect son. And ALL of them end up tortured and dead. He ends up with a few thousand buddies to lay around paradise with for ever while ALL the rest are destroyed or tortured for eternity. Has there ever been a bigger loser? Ever? And you are banking that THIS time, this one last time, God is gonna hit the ball out of the park for you? Good luck with that!
How does it feel being another mindless Christian zombie, blindly believing what you're told? The so called facts in the bible couldn't possibly be true. To believe this, means you have to believe in magic? And that's just plain fucking stupid......Just like you!!
In closing, I would rather be left behind to face the apocalypse. You see, the feelings of guilt would be overwhelming as I leave my brothers and sisters behind to face death. I hope the rapture is where your taken to the Draco constellation where humanoid dinosaurs eat you like chicken, lol.
That phrase, "Christ-rejecting": What does that even mean? Christianity is the dominant religion of the ENTIRE WORLD. There are more Christians than there are followers of any other religion. Stop crying persecution. You are the persecutors, in your attempts to force the entire world to conform to your point of view.
I don't shake my fist at God. I have no hatred for him. How can I hate something if I don't think it exists?
I deny the existence of your god because there's nothing to logically suggest he actually exists. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. It is possible, however unlikely, that some divine being of some sort might exist, but we've no evidence of one and thus believing in one is little more than fantastic speculation. YOUR god, however, has a very low chance of being the right one (if there is a right one). He has no evidence, and the Bible is full of contradictions and fallacies.
You obviously havent studied the bible! No offence but clearly you havent.. You have just stuck your head in the sand and picked up on some athiest views and stuck with it.. Wrong Wrong Wrong. Read the bible and look at the prophesies that are being fulfied. Isreal is a prime expample, however there are many many more. Please look into this in more depth and if you have any questions i am more than happy to answer or help in anyway. God Bless... Mike UK
Actually, no. I didn't become an atheist until AFTER I read the Bible. Indeed, I became an atheist BECAUSE I had read the Bible. I was a believer, then I read the Bible, and upon finishing it I came to the very distinct realization: "Hey, a lot of these claims have no evidence to speak of. This sounds like BS."
@Imaginefree69 Jesus always knew that this cup would come. But yet showed his humanity in praying let this cup pass but nevertheless not my will but thine be done. As believers we often find ourselves not wanting to do what God wants, but yet we know His will is best for our lives and the lives of those around us. If Jesus had not died for us, we would all be without hope.
I was born and raised in the Presbyterian church, a minister's son. I believed strongly in God, and in the Bible. At times, when I prayed, I even thought I could perceive His presence.
I eventually realized I had perceived nothing of the sort. My mind had played tricks on me. I realized that what I attributed to God had other causes. Regarding my prayers, I realized I had selectively been remembering the successes and forgetting the failures.
Please. The descriptions in revelation may seem extremely specific, but the most vital details are vague enough that you can claim, at any time, that all the signs are present. People have been claiming it for thousands of years. It hasn't happened yet.
People ARE willing to die for things that turn out false. The Jonestown deaths are proof enough. A mass suicide. People WILLINGLY gave up their lives, because they'd been brainwashed. Who can say the martyred Christians weren't?
Here's another of my problems: you accuse me of historical revisionism, when you Christians do it all the time with recent personal history. Someone joins your church, and later leaves the faith, and you claim they were never a Christian to begin with!
My faith was strong. It was as strong as yours is now. And it went away. There's probably no god of any kind. Chill out. Enjoy your life.
OF COURSE! THE MOST HATED AND KILLED PEOPLE ON THE PLANET ARE CHRISTIAN!
Oh wait, there was that nasty little business in the forties...huh...what was it called again? Oh yeah, THE HOLOCAUST. Then we had the Inquisition, before then, where Christians - surprise surprise - were not killed, but were the killers! And then, before THAT, we had the Crusades, where yet MORE people of other religions were killed!
I've READ the Bible. I used to be Christian. I read a great deal. I read the gospel, I read revelation, I read the VAST majority of the Old Testament, I prayed to God for guidance, for aid, for strength, for wisdom, I prayed to help those around me...and my prayers were never answered, or when they were, the occurrence could have just as easily been random chance. Of course, at the time, I attributed them to God, but I began to realize there wasn't anyone on the other end of that line.
In fact, it's through my reading of the Bible that I have ultimately come to the conclusion that it contains equal amounts of fact, history, and pizza, i.e. NONE OF EACH. Any resemblance to real occurrences or people is pretty much mere coincidence. There's virtually nothing solid about the Bible: it was written by many different authors, in many different times, with many different viewpoints.
Try doing some research with an open MIND, for once. Take your heart out of the equation.
YOU AREN'T GETTING IT. THIS IS LOGIC. MY ARGUMENTS ARE ALL VALID. YOU NEED TO PROVE THEY ARE UNSOUND. PROVE THAT ONE OF MY PREMISES IS WRONG.
In any case, if there IS any truth to your claims, and your god DOES exist, then I'm not so sure I want to spend eternity with him. All the evidence demonstrates that he's a divine douchebag.
ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. IF YOUR GOD WANTS PEOPLE TO BELIEVE IN HIM, WHY NOT JUST PART THE CLOUDS AND APPEAR BEFORE EVERYONE IN GLORY?
If your God really is omniscient, then, as I've already stated, I have no free will and CAN'T do anything to deal with sins, ergo He'll be punishing me for something that is DESTINED and CAN'T HAPPEN ANY OTHER WAY, which, as any human being would tell you, is cruel. If your God IS omniscient, then either a) everyone's going to heaven anyway (if He's really a loving god) or b) He's a vindictive asshole who's punishing people for things that aren't their fault.
Of course, there can still be a heaven for Christians and a hell for sinners if God ISN'T omniscient, but if he isn't omniscient, what other limitations does he have? On that note, even omnipotence has its limits: If you say that God can lift any stone I can possibly imagine, and I imagine a stone so heavy that God can't lift it, the definitions force a contradiction. Even an omnipotent being can't do things that are logically contradictory in nature. Thus, even God has limits.
In addition, I've noticed that your counter-arguments are getting weaker. Basically, all you're saying now is "you're wrong" without offering anything - no good evidence, no iffy evidence, you're not even resorting to flawed/fake evidence - to back up your claims. Are you finally recognizing you can't logically prove your religion is right? And, if you are, will you finally stop telling us all we're going to a hell that probably doesn't exist?
I am so irritated with all the "preachers" out there spreading FALSE DOCTRINE- YOU SHOW ME ANYWHERE IN THE BIBLE WHERE IT SAYS THAT YOU OR I OR ANYONE IS GOING TO BE RAPTURED OUT OF THE TIME OF TRIBULATION THAT IS TO COME UPON ALL THOSE WHO DWELL ON THE EARTH!YOU SHOW ME WHERE IT SAYS THAT JESUS IS GOING TO COME GET THE "GOOD" PEOPLE BEFORE THE LAST TRUMPET...YOU CANT. CUZ ITS NOT TRUE! THERE IS NONE THAT ARE GOOD NOT ONE! THE TRIBULATION IS A TIME OF PURIFICATION FOR THE SAINTS. Read the Bible!
Actually, I'm not so sure your argument works. Okay, let's start with a few premises: Free will requires that the future be unknowable; if anyone or anything can know exactly what will happen, no choice can be made freely, because that future will come to pass no matter what. All right. Now, if God's omniscient, he knows everything past, present and future. This makes the future knowable, and means that free will cannot exist.
Furthermore (under the assumption that it is not conscionable to punish someone for something that they could not prevent), this means that a perfectly good god would not send ANYONE to Hell, because they didn't have free will (and therefore had no control whatsoever over their actions) and thus could not choose not to sin. This means that one of the following must be true. Either:
a) God is not omniscient, and may in fact have other limits;
As for the conclusion about God being a dick, that's sort of a truncated form of "God is NOT perfectly good and NOT infinitely loving, and will, in fact, eternally torment people for something that wasn't their fault in the first place". This last conclusion can also be inferred from the doctrine that one will go to Hell unless they accept Jesus as their savior; MANY people existed and died before Christ, and were thus doomed to eternal torture for simply being born at the wrong time.
In addition, many people were born in other locations before any word of Christianity reached those areas, and died before hearing anything about it, thereby being doomed to Hell for the "sin" of GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION. Also, regardless of your feelings on abortion, many children who ARE born end up dying before they have any understanding of language or the gospel, and so these children are doomed to Hell for the "sin" of DYING TOO YOUNG.
A god who would doom so many people to eternal hellfire for circumstances far beyond their control does not sound particularly loving to me. A more intelligent/loving god would eliminate any idea or illusion of free will, set the future so that all would do only good and all would go to heaven, and maybe even just skip the Earth step entirely and put people right into heaven in the first place.
Aye, that's a loving response. "I can't wait to see people crying out in sheer eternal agony to a god who put them there in the first place, begging him for mercy." Yep. Can't imagine anything anyone else could say that shows more love. Except perhaps about anything else one could say.
You don't get what I'm asking. Yes, I've broken the ten commandments. We've established this. What we HAVEN'T established is God's existence. If you have no proof that he's THERE, if you have no proof that these are actually the instructions of a divine being, there's no reason to follow them. If there's no proof that any sort of god exists, then any claims that one will be punished for rebelling against said god are extraordinarily weak.
According to your religion, several of my actions are indeed sinful, BUT if you can't give me a sound, logical reason why I should care what the Bible says or believe that your God exists, it won't bother me. So yeah, by your definition, I've sinned. I don't see why it matters.
If the truth is so plain, how come you can't prove it? If it's so plain, why do I have to accept it BEFORE it can be proven to me? EXTRAORDINARY CLAIMS REQUIRE EXTRAORDINARY PROOF, WHICH YOU DON'T SEEM TO HAVE.
Look, according to your book, I've sinned, yes, but why should it hold power? It's a book. WORDS ON A PAGE. What power does it hold? I could just as easily hold up a book I made up all on my own and say "THIS IS THE TRUE WORD OF THE TRUE GOD". The only evidence you have that your book has any power is that someone told you that the book came from God. What else has proven it? Nothing. I'm not saying that it's impossible that your religion is right. I'm saying that you can't prove it.
No, I know that your book says I've sinned. Again, everything we know about your god we get from the Bible or from people who claim to have had religious experiences. Proof must still be offered.
Ever heard of Hume's Scale? When we receive a report of a miracle, we can either assume the miracle happened as reported, or that some sort of deception (intentional or not) is involved. Most of the miracles reported by the Bible and some Christians just seem too out there to be believed.
Prove that the Bible should be trusted. Give us some proof PLEASE.
It's a book, copied down by men. There's nothing special about it, other than what men attribute to it.
If you can offer a sound, logical argument for why the Bible should be wholly and completely trusted above all other things, you win 1000 Internets, and I'll join your religion.
You ass hats have been spewing this crap for the better half 2000 years, is it ever going to happen? Answer is no. It's bull. You guys said the same crap during WWI, WWII, The Cold War, The Depression, Y2K, Influenza Pandemic, The Plauge, and the rise of islam and I am sick of it, it's nothing but garbage thought up to scare uneducated people into believing your crack pot brainwashing religion. Good news though, over 1 billion people know this, and knowing is half the battle.
Let's have a debate, 1 Corinthians 15:40-54 states that "flesh and blood will not inherit the kingdom of God". So why is it you people believe you will escape death in rapture when your divine savior had a physical death? You will die like everyone else, the truth hurts I know. Your savior had to die, so will you. Go ahead and hate me for trying to get you to think outside a manipulated box.
If the messiah didn't negate the physical death, neither will any of his followers. The only way your body will evolve into a heavenly body is through death. The truth is, the rapture is a myth, along with the return of Christ. Keep an open mind. Just like you prepare for the rapture and return of Christ you should be be prepared if these things don't come to pass at all. I find it comical that believers prepare for something on blind faith which might not come to pass in their lifetime.
Yeah only Christians will be saved in the rapture. The remaining unbelievers and people who don't follow Christianity are doomed to a horrific fate. It's amazing how delusional you people are, always good for a laugh. In an existence where we are all one, only Christians will be saved. I really hope you fanatics will wake up one day.
I'm with you, man. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. They've yet to offer the extraordinary proof, ergo, we've no reason to believe their extraordinary claims.

KriimIanga 3 years ago
Furthermore (under the assumption that it is not conscionable to punish someone for something that they could not prevent), this means that a perfectly good god would not send ANYONE to Hell, because they didn't have free will (and therefore had no control whatsoever over their actions) and thus could not choose not to sin. This means that one of the following must be true. Either:
a) God is not omniscient, and may in fact have other limits;
b) Hell does not exist;
OR
c) God is a dick.
KriimIanga 3 years ago
Actually, wait, I phrased conclusion b incorrectly to save space. What that SHOULD say is "b) No human will ever go to Hell".
When I say "perfectly good god", I mean a god who demonstrates the infinite love you attribute to him.
KriimIanga 3 years ago
As for the conclusion about God being a dick, that's sort of a truncated form of "God is NOT perfectly good and NOT infinitely loving, and will, in fact, eternally torment people for something that wasn't their fault in the first place". This last conclusion can also be inferred from the doctrine that one will go to Hell unless they accept Jesus as their savior; MANY people existed and died before Christ, and were thus doomed to eternal torture for simply being born at the wrong time.
KriimIanga 3 years ago
In addition, many people were born in other locations before any word of Christianity reached those areas, and died before hearing anything about it, thereby being doomed to Hell for the "sin" of GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION. Also, regardless of your feelings on abortion, many children who ARE born end up dying before they have any understanding of language or the gospel, and so these children are doomed to Hell for the "sin" of DYING TOO YOUNG.
KriimIanga 3 years ago
A god who would doom so many people to eternal hellfire for circumstances far beyond their control does not sound particularly loving to me. A more intelligent/loving god would eliminate any idea or illusion of free will, set the future so that all would do only good and all would go to heaven, and maybe even just skip the Earth step entirely and put people right into heaven in the first place.
KriimIanga 3 years ago

KriimIanga 3 years ago
According to your religion, several of my actions are indeed sinful, BUT if you can't give me a sound, logical reason why I should care what the Bible says or believe that your God exists, it won't bother me. So yeah, by your definition, I've sinned. I don't see why it matters.
If the truth is so plain, how come you can't prove it? If it's so plain, why do I have to accept it BEFORE it can be proven to me? EXTRAORDINARY CLAIMS REQUIRE EXTRAORDINARY PROOF, WHICH YOU DON'T SEEM TO HAVE.
KriimIanga 3 years ago
Look, according to your book, I've sinned, yes, but why should it hold power? It's a book. WORDS ON A PAGE. What power does it hold? I could just as easily hold up a book I made up all on my own and say "THIS IS THE TRUE WORD OF THE TRUE GOD". The only evidence you have that your book has any power is that someone told you that the book came from God. What else has proven it? Nothing. I'm not saying that it's impossible that your religion is right. I'm saying that you can't prove it.
KriimIanga 3 years ago
No, I know that your book says I've sinned. Again, everything we know about your god we get from the Bible or from people who claim to have had religious experiences. Proof must still be offered.
Ever heard of Hume's Scale? When we receive a report of a miracle, we can either assume the miracle happened as reported, or that some sort of deception (intentional or not) is involved. Most of the miracles reported by the Bible and some Christians just seem too out there to be believed.

Is this like a threat?

You did not read verse 52 and 53 our earthly bodies will be changed to heavenly bodies
akkafietje 3 years ago
If the messiah didn't negate the physical death, neither will any of his followers. The only way your body will evolve into a heavenly body is through death. The truth is, the rapture is a myth, along with the return of Christ. Keep an open mind. Just like you prepare for the rapture and return of Christ you should be be prepared if these things don't come to pass at all. I find it comical that believers prepare for something on blind faith which might not come to pass in their lifetime.
Mangravyonherface 3 years ago
Yeah only Christians will be saved in the rapture. The remaining unbelievers and people who don't follow Christianity are doomed to a horrific fate. It's amazing how delusional you people are, always good for a laugh. In an existence where we are all one, only Christians will be saved. I really hope you fanatics will wake up one day.
Mangravyonherface 3 years ago
I'm with you, man. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. They've yet to offer the extraordinary proof, ergo, we've no reason to believe their extraordinary claims.
